Once again, Vuċi Kollettiva is proud to launch its annual food drive in support of the Foodbank Lifeline Foundation.

But this year, we’re doing more than returning: We’re going Nationwide

For the first time ever, this initiative brings together communities from every corner of the Maltese Islands, proving that solidarity knows no boundaries.

🤝 With the support of KSU - Kunsill Studenti Universitarji, GUG, International Students Association, MMSA - Malta Medical Students' Association, Happy Paws Charity Organisation, Proutist Universal Malta and M Johann Missionary, we’ve expanded our reach like never before.

📍 Drop-off points are now available in the South, North, Central Malta, and Gozo, making it easier than ever for everyone to take part.

💛 Every donation, big or small, helps place food on a family’s table and restore dignity where it matters most: at Home.
Together, we can turn simple acts of generosity into a nationwide movement of solidarity.

Because when we act collectively, no one is left behind.

19 Youth. 5 NGOs. 1 Incredible Day. Can you even imagine the community energy? 👇Earlier this month, joined forces to take 19 youth and their families from Ħal Far to Esplora for a day packed with curiosity, joy, and serious community energy.

We Have a Dream: A Future Without Violence 💙

This campaign urges everyone—victims, witnesses, and perpetrators alike—to take a stand. It’s time to break the silence, seek help, and change harmful behaviors. Trick or Trash? 🎃

Halloween is over, the pumpkins are gone, the candy wrappers mostly thrown away… but the waste?

That’s still here.

Costumes made from synthetic plastics, decorations that barely lasted a week, mountains of packaging.

Even a single child’s trick-or-treat haul can create up to 1 kg of waste. Millions of pounds of packaging ended up in landfills. Many decorations and costumes were imported, adding hidden carbon footprints we rarely think about.

And yet, only 20% of people considered sustainability during the celebrations.

Looking back, it’s easy to enjoy the memories but the planet feels the aftermath. This isn’t about guilt; it’s about awareness.

Small choices next time: reusing, repurposing, thinking twice before buying can make a difference.

Because fun should never come at the planet’s expense. ♻️

🌿 Join us this Saturday, 6 September at 12pm at Ta’ Qali Family Park for a Picnic Protest.

Ta’ Qali was once the green heart of our island, a space where families had picnics, kids played safely, dog owners let their pets run free, and the community gathered to enjoy fresh air and nature.

Now, that heart has been covered in gravel. What was once soft, cool, and full of life has been turned into a hard, empty, and unsafe surface. Instead of shade and biodiversity, we’re left with heat and dust.

👉 Green spaces aren’t a luxury, they’re essential. They reduce depression, improve air quality, offer safe areas for children and pets, bring people together, and protect the health of our environment for future generations.

This isn’t just about aesthetics. It’s about our quality of life, our health, and our right to enjoy one of the few open green spaces left in Malta.

💚 On Saturday, we’re taking Ta’ Qali back the way it’s meant to be enjoyed, with blankets, food, music, games, and community spirit. A peaceful protest, but a powerful statement: this park belongs to the people, not to greed or short-sighted planning.

Here’s what to bring:

✅ Your voices

…and don’t forget some snacks, blankets, and board games for the picnic vibes! 🎶🍉♟️
