Weโd like to share an important update regarding the EU Blue Card in Malta ๐ฒ๐น

As the number of EU Blue Card holders in Malta is still relatively small, we do not yet know how this process works in practice. Therefore, we encourage members of our community to share their experience with the procedure.
We would also like to remind everyone about 2 important benefits of the EU Blue Card related to changing employment:
1๏ธโฃ Change of employment is free of charge.
2๏ธโฃ If you have held your EU Blue Card for less than 12 months, Identitร may suspend the change for up to 30 days.
However, if you have held your EU Blue Card for more than 12 months, Regulation 13(4) of SL 217.27 clearly states that the requirement to notify Identitร about a change of employment โ๐ด๐ฉ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ต ๐ด๐ถ๐ด๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ณ๐ช๐จ๐ฉ๐ต ๐ฐ๐ง ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ ๐๐ญ๐ถ๐ฆ ๐๐ข๐ณ๐ฅ ๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ญ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ณ ๐ต๐ฐ ๐ต๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ ๐ถ๐ฑ ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ค๐ข๐ณ๐ณ๐บ ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ต ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ธ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ญ๐ฐ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ตโ.
