A group of Girl Guides from Dingli and Santa Venera travelled to the United Kingdom this summer to represent Malta Girl Guides (MGG) at two internationally recognised Scouting and Guiding locations, Gilwell Park and Pax Lodge.

Day 8 – Pax Lodge, London & The Journey Home! 💚🌍🇬🇧

Our final day of this incredible adventure began at Pax Lodge, the WAGGGS World Centre, with a special pinning ceremony, celebrating our Guiding journey, the friendships we’ve made and the memories we’ve created together.

We then continued exploring London, visiting some of its famous landmarks, including the Natural History Museum, London Eye, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey, where we also saw our Founder’s Robert Baden-Powell and Olave Baden - Powell Memorial. 🏛️🕰️

It was the perfect way to spend our final hours in London before returning to pack our bags and begin our journey home. 🧳✈️

We leave with new friendships, unforgettable experiences and wonderful memories that will stay with us for years to come. 💚🌍

What an incredible adventure it has been! ✨

Day 7 – Pax Lodge, London & International Campfire! 🌍🔥🇬🇧

Day 7 took us to Pax Lodge one of WAGGGS World Centre, a special place where Guides and Girl Scouts from around the world come together to learn, connect and celebrate international Guiding.

Our adventure continued with an exciting challenge around London! 🏙️🗺️ We explored the city, worked together as a team and took on challenges along the way.

In the evening, we came together for International Night and campfire, celebrating the different countries, cultures and friendships that have made this adventure so special. 🌍🎶🔥

Another unforgettable day filled with teamwork, discovery, friendship and the Guiding spirit! 💚

Day 6 – Water Fun and International Games 💦😊

On day 6 we enjoyed some water activities, bringing lots of energy and smiles 🌊😄

We also took part in international games, joining Scouts and Guides from different countries and sharing games 🌍🎲 A special part of the day was badge swapping were exchanging badges and memories with our new friends from around the world.

And now, we’re on our way to Pax Lodge! 🚌🚏

We can’t wait to see what the next part of our adventure brings! 💚🌍

Day 5 – Rock Climbing, Fencing & Eclipse! 🌍💚

Day 5 was packed with adventure, challenges and plenty of new experiences!

We took on rock climbing, tested our skills with fencing, worked together to build shelters, and learned the art of fire lighting. 🧗‍♀️🤺🏕️🔥

As evening arrived, we joined Scouts and Guides from around the world for Eclipse, Shooting Stars and lots of fun activities. 🌙✨🌟

We enjoyed games and music shared by Scouts and Guides from different countries, giving us the chance to learn about each other’s cultures and celebrate the international spirit of Guiding and Scouting. 🌍🎶
