EAPA Malta he aim of EAPA is to provide support services to the community, the Police Force, the Army and Civil Protection in Malta & EU

Auxiliary police, which may be armed or unarmed are unpaid volunteers affiliated to the police service. In most jurisdictions, Auxiliary Police officers are empowered to make arrests for crimes that occur in their presence. In Malta it is entirely civilian organization includes uniformed and unarmed operatives who take part in various fields such as:

• neighbourhood watch
• regular patrol with ma

rked cars
• Performing citizen's arrests by keeping criminals on the scene of the crime until the arrival of formal police, but only in the case of in flagrante delicto.
• assisting police officers on duty
• youth crime prevention units
• To provide youth training
• Drug Prevention training
• And more

EAPA Malta is composed of civic-minded residents of the community who work together to improve the level of safety and security in their community. The presence of the Auxiliary Police, in uniform, on patrol in marked police units has been proven to reduce vandalism and other crimes in the community. The force is currently made up of 10 volunteer members. The main aim of EAPA members is to patrol in marked vehicles helping to make their community a safer place to live. They help prevent criminal activity by being the "eyes and ears" of the Police Department.

Being prepared means being equipped with the proper supplies you may need in the event of an emergency or disaster. Keep your supplies in an easy-to-carry emergency preparedness kit that you can use at home or take with you in case you must evacuate.
What Do You Need In A Survival Kit?
At a minimum, you should have the basic supplies listed below.
1. Water: 5 litres per person, per day (3-day supply for evacuation, 2-week supply for home)
2. Food: non-perishable, easy-to-prepare items (3-day supply for evacuation, 2-week supply for home)
3. Flashlight
4. Battery-powered Radio
5. Extra batteries
6. First aid kit
7. Medications (7-day supply) and medical items
8. Multi-purpose tool
9. Sanitation and personal hygiene items
10. Copies of personal documents (medication list and pertinent medical information, proof of address, deed/lease to home, passports, birth certificates, insurance policies)
11. Cell phone with chargers
12. Family and emergency contact information
13. Extra cash
14. Emergency blanket
15. Map(s) of the area
After you gather those basic supplies for your kit, add unique things each member of your family may need, such as:
• Medical supplies (hearing aids with extra batteries, glasses, contact lenses, syringes, etc)
• Baby supplies (bottles, formula, baby food, diapers)
• Games and activities for children
• Pet supplies (collar, leash, ID, food, carrier, bowl)
• Two-way radios
• Extra set of car keys and house keys
• Manual can opener
Also consider adding these things to your kit:
• Whistle
• N95 or surgical masks
• Matches
• Rain gear
• Towels
• Work gloves
• Tools/supplies for securing your home
• Extra clothing, hat and sturdy shoes
• Plastic sheeting
• Duct tape
• Scissors
• Household liquid bleach
• Entertainment items
• Blankets or sleeping bags

The European Commission has advised citizens across the bloc to stockpile three days’ worth of food, water, and essential supplies.
