On the 11th July 2025, Robert has been awarded the honor of “Mertu Msida” by the locality of Msida and the Msida Local Council.

We thank who nominated him, the Msida Local Council and the Msida residents for this kind gesture in his name.

We are proud and humbled every time Robert gets recognized within the community, echoing his deep connection to people which was one of his unique traits. We thank you for your kindness and generosity in his memory

Francis and Robert have been friends since school at St. Aloysius College.

They continued as colleagues and always shared a genuine and honest friendship.

Francis was the definition of a good honest soul who knew no harm.

I’m sure Robert greeted him already and they’re now both resting, enjoying each others company sharing some banter and smiles

Robert was so proud of Roberta Metsola on her first appointment.

2 years on with two successive landslide records under her belt we are sure he has a glistening smile on his face watching her success and development which he always knew she can achieve.

Roberta is true to what Robert saw in a politician: true to oneself, close to the people and building step by step through hard work and perseverance whilst letting the results do the talking.

She makes Robert proud and Malta prouder. Well done super lady.

Today we mark the 1 year anniversary from Robert’s passing. There isn’t a day we don’t think about him and feel his presence.Every day we still witness his legacy both in the tourism industry and within the Maltese community.

As a family we are keeping his memory alive doing things his way in a humble and unpretentious manner bringing joy in doing good and helping others whenever it is possible.

We shall keep to his annual tradition to have a fund raising event for his birthday. This year it will be in aid of Puttinu Cares and Inspire Malta. Details will be announced soon.

The love and support we get from people who till this day keep mentioning Robert is overwhelming and we thank you all for that. He surely would be proudly smiling that despite his passing he remains making an impact and is still receiving all this love and respect.

Today and more than ever we will play your favorite song and raise a glass to you. We miss you.
