🇬🇧 Road to Peru at the Mdina Cathedral Museum Open Day

During the Open Day of the Mdina Cathedral Museum, The Road to Peru volunteers will be selling homemade ftajjar, crêpes, and traditional Maltese sfineġ tal-inċova.

All proceeds will go in aid of the mission in Iquitos, Peru.

Opening times: 09:30–16:00

🇬🇧 Marco Frisina is an Italian Roman Catholic priest, composer, and conductor. He studied music at the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia and theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University before being ordained a priest in 1982. He is widely known for his sacred music, including hymns, oratorios, and film scores, often performed at major Vatican celebrations.

Frisina founded the Choir of the Diocese of Rome and has directed important liturgical music for papal events. His work combines artistic excellence with deep spirituality, making him a leading figure in contemporary Catholic sacred music.

What does it really mean to be a missionary today? 🌍

And what can young people learn from those who have lived the mission first-hand?
Join the volunteers preparing for the Road to Peru Missionary Expedition 2026 for an inspiring seminar on Christian mission, real-life service, and hope in action.

The seminar will feature missionaries with long experience in the missions, together with young people who have experienced missionary work themselves. Through their stories, we will explore the realities faced by communities in the Amazon, the Andes, Africa, and other parts of the world, including poverty, isolation, faith, resilience, and the effects of climate change.
