🌍 Travel Minds: Connecting Young People Across Five Countries Through Erasmus+

Travel Minds brings together 30 young people and youth leaders aged 18–30 from Malta, Albania, Portugal, Greece and Lithuania through two interconnected Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges in 2026.

✈️ The first exchange will take place in Malta from 22–28 August 2026, followed by a second exchange in Elbasan, Albania, from 20–26 September 2026.

Designed as one continuous learning journey, the exchanges will use workshops, peer learning, group discussions and community engagement to strengthen intercultural communication, confidence, teamwork, leadership and problem-solving. Participants will also explore the links between travel, wellbeing, independence, inclusion and active European citizenship.

The project particularly supports more accessible and meaningful international mobility for young people facing economic, social or geographical barriers.

🤝 Preparations are already underway. On 29 July 2026, participants and partner representatives from all five countries joined an online meeting to discuss team roles, travel arrangements, programme contributions and the development of the Travel Minds Safe Travel Guide.

📘 Created by participants through their experiences in Malta and Albania, the guide will provide practical, inclusive and safety-conscious advice for young travellers. It will be shared through SALTO-YOUTH, partner communication channels and local community activities.

Upbeat Music House Malta is Calling for Artists' expression of Interest for consideration to Perform 2 slots × 1 hour sessions during MAFA to be held 29 and 30 May 2027 (Proposed dates subject to Change) as part of our Community initiative, "Project to People," to be held in Valletta Malta.

🌍✨ We Did It! ✨🌍

Thanks to the European Union's Erasmus+ Program, we, the Maltese youth, participated in the amazing EcoVoices Youth Exchange 🚀💚. During this bootcamp, we learned how to tell powerful stories and use digital media 🎥✍️ to connect climate action with social inclusion! 🤝🌱

Working in intercultural teams, we created inspiring narratives 🌟 that highlight sustainability challenges and propose inclusive community solutions 🌍🤝. It was all about creativity, empathy, and working together! ❤️🫶🏿

PRESS RELEASE | Trash2Treasure Project Final Conference
Celebrating Creativity, Sustainability, and Youth Empowerment

We are proud to announce the successful conclusion of the Trash2Treasure Project, an Erasmus+ KA220 initiative dedicated to transforming waste into opportunity while empowering young people and adults to become active agents of positive change.
Participants from Malta, Portugal, Albania and Slovenia developed practical upcycling, design and entrepreneurial skills by transforming discarded textiles into valuable products, while increasing awareness of the environmental impact of fast fashion and the importance of the circular economy.
Through local dissemination activities, social media campaigns and participation in the European Week for Waste Reduction, the project inspired communities to embrace repair, reuse and sustainable consumption. The Final Conference, Fashion Show and Exhibition celebrated participants' achievements and demonstrated how international cooperation and non-formal education can foster lifelong learning, strengthen community engagement, and create lasting environmental and social impact.
