The Green Transition HUB was established in 2020 and is based at the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) in partnership with AquaBiotech Group. Together we are implementing three strategic programmes this year: Young Innovators, Accelerator and Journey. These programmes are focused on empowering teachers, youth and young professionals to gain necessary knowledge and skills to com

Thank you to all the , , and who joined us for "The Next Move – Collaborative Insights for Sustainable City Logistics" on 17th October 2025, at MCAST MRC Auditorium!

Your insights, discussions, and enthusiasm made this session a truly meaningful step toward advancing sustainable and integrated urban mobility solutions in Malta.

Organised under the UrbanLogix initiative and powered by EIT Urban Mobility, Acceler8 Venture Builder(A8), and MCAST, in collaboration with Corporate Affairs Partnering Solutions (CAPS), the event brought together key actors from academia, industry, local councils, and policy to explore how Malta can reimagine its urban logistics ecosystem.

A heartfelt thank you to all our experts who made the event such an engaging and insightful session:

🚦 Gonca Kara – for setting the scene and introducing us to the importance of sustainable urban logistics, sparking curiosity and critical reflection through thoughtful questions.

🌍 Dimos T. Touloumidis (Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH), Greece) – for sharing valuable lessons from the DISCO Project and providing practical guidance on developing and implementing Sustainable Urban Logistics Plans (SULPs).
