The final cyclists' meeting took place this evening, following an eye-opening visit to the Renal Unit. Seeing firsthand how patients spend at least four hours connected to a dialysis machine, three times a week, has left a profound impact on the team.
President of the Transplant Support Group - Malta, Josette Parnis, addressed questions from the cyclists, spoke about the treatment regime one must go through to manage the disease and transplantation and the importance of being an Organ Donor.
This group's incredible camaraderie shines through, inspired by tonightβs visit.
With renewed motivation following the ward visit, everyone is eager to kick off the challenge.
Please help us reach our goal. Itβs not too late to donate.
