Inauguration of School in Jimma Bonga, Ethiopia - January

The SiGMA Foundation kicked off 2023 with the inauguration of a 3-in-1 school (kindergarten, primary and lower-secondary) in Bonga, Ethiopia. On the 23rd of January, a group of 16 members from past Kilimanjaro and Camino groups travelled to Ethiopia for the celebration. The project, cost in excess of €300,000 and will be feeding and educating up to 1000 children. The 4th and 5th Camino de Santiago expeditions, Spain – April, September

Together with Brown’s Group of Pharmacies, the SiGMA Foundation, will also be returning to Camino with a heavy training regimen underway to prepare its members for the upcoming expedition in April. This will mark the Foundation’s 4th Camino expedition, with plans for a 5th expedition comprising 30 individuals in September. Mount Toubkal - May

The SiGMA Foundation also plans to summit Morocco’s Mount Toubkal in May to fund many more of its charitable projects. Hikes are taking place all over Malta and Gozo in preparation for this daring feat.

120 km was the distance. 200 young futures were the reason ❤️

For five days, 21 members of the SiGMA Foundation community pushed through the challenges of Hadrian's Wall, united by a goal that reaches far beyond the trail: helping build four new classrooms for pupils at St Peter’s Mission School in Kuinet, Kenya.

Their journey is one of determination, solidarity and hope. And this is a story worth watching.

Five days. 120 km. One incredible experience.

21 members of the SiGMA Foundation community took on the historic Hadrian's Wall Path in Northern England, facing long days on the trail, steep climbs, changing weather and plenty of moments shared along the way.

It was a challenging but unforgettable experience, made even more meaningful by the purpose behind it. Every kilometre helped raise funds towards new classrooms for around 200 pupils at St Peter’s Mission School in Kuinet, Kenya.❤️

3,500 wheelchairs, ready to make a difference.

On 17 September, the SiGMA Foundation turned over 3,500 wheelchairs to PAGCOR supporting families across the Philippines with greater mobility and independence.

From visiting schools and healthcare projects to meeting local communities, attending project inaugurations and seeing the impact of your fundraising first-hand, this is a chance to experience the work behind the cause.

What if you could see the impact of your fundraising first-hand?

The SiGMA Foundation is opening applications for its East Africa Voluntary Mission, taking place across Kenya and Ethiopia from 13–28 January 2027.

This is not a trekking challenge. It’s an opportunity to travel with us, meet local communities, visit the projects your fundraising supports and be there as new initiatives are inaugurated.
