Last month the team from Illumina completed a Scooter Dash event as facilitated by o3e here in Malta and guess what, they decided to donate the scooters to our foundation ...... and this is what we've done with them 🥰.

You should have seen the smiles on the faces of kids at the YMCA Malta.

We are incredibly grateful for your kindness, dedication and enthusiasm, and for choosing to support our work through this memorable gesture. Thank you to Illumina and Hollie Church and o3e for making this happen!

Some thank-yous are too big for a quiet email. 💚 This one is for RANI - Indian Cuisine and for every single person who dined there in 2025. 🍽️

Without making any fuss about it, Rani spent the whole year turning meals into something bigger. Today, they handed that kindness to us in person, and it means more than we can properly put into words.

Their donation will help us continue providing therapy for children in care through our Mindful@Home project, now in its third year of giving children the steady, caring support they so deeply deserve. 🧡

So to Colin and the whole Rani family and every guest that went there in 2025, thank you for showing what it looks like to give from the heart.

And here's the lovely part, you can keep this going simply by treating yourself also in 2026 as the generosity of Rani and its guests continues.

A message that fills us with and .

Good afternoon Daniel. It’s Charlene (Adam’s mum). We came back from Disney last night. I wanted to say a BIG BIG thank you for the wonderful holiday. Truly the children had the time of their lives and we will forever be grateful for this gift. A holiday money cannot buy as the treatment we received was fabulous 🙂.

And we are able to do all this thanks to the support of the many companies and individuals who stand proud and tall behind The Children in Need Foundation.

🌟 One act of kindness has a way of multiplying.

Mattea and Jacob started it, but this week, we had another two surprise visits, one from brother and sisters Giorgia Noah and Maya and another from Millie, who carried it forward, bringing Easter eggs for children who needed a little extra sweetness.

Easter may be over. But these little hearts are wide open. 🥚💛

Two years ago, we dared to dream of something better for the children we support. Today, that dream has a room, a door, and a name.

The Children in Need Foundation is proud to announce the inauguration of a dedicated therapy room at Fondazzjoni Sebħ, a safe, nurturing space where children in residential care can begin their journey toward healing.

This room didn't happen overnight. It took vision, courage, and an incredible community of supporters. We are deeply grateful to the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation, Sixt Malta, Malta Enterprise, and EbejerBonnici Architects, as well as the many others who contributed financially or through goods and services. Because of you, this is now real.

To the children who will walk through that door, this space is yours. 💙

Introducing Change for Children in Need 🧡

We are proud to publicly announce our brand new initiative, the Change for Children in Need, a partnership programme bringing together businesses and industry leaders from across Malta & Gozo who believe in the power of collective action.

Through this programme, our Foundation will be joining forces with organisations that share our , ensuring the children we have the childhood they deserve and a stronger and more secure future.

This is just the beginning. Over the coming weeks, we'll be introducing the partners making this possible and as our circle grows, we invite you to support the businesses and organisations standing alongside us, because when you support them, you support the children who need it most.

Sometimes, the greatest lessons in life come from the smallest teachers. 🌟

Meet Jacob, 5 years old, who walked through our doors today clutching two Easter eggs, ready to give them away to roofless children without a second thought. No hesitation. No convincing needed. Just pure, instinctive kindness.

Jacob and children like him can teach us adults a lesson or two about what really matters. While we get caught up in the busyness of everyday life, these little ones quietly show us that is simple. You have a little extra, share it.

A huge thank you to his mum and dad for raising such a kind-hearted little boy. Jacob, you are only 5 and you are already making the world a . 💛

Mattea and Beppe are at it again. 💛

You already know Mattea, the incredible little girl who every birthday asks for donations for our foundation instead of presents. Well, this Easter, she and her younger brother Beppe decided to do something that left us truly speechless.

Instead of keeping all their Easter eggs, the two of them gathered the extras and chose to donate them to roofless children who don't have a safe place to call home. 🏠🩷

We keep saying it and we'll keep saying it, the biggest hearts truly do come in the smallest people.

To Gilbert and Bianca Schembri, you are raising two extraordinary human beings. The values you are instilling in your children - , , and for those - are the greatest gift you could ever give them. And through them, you are gifting something beautiful to our too.

✨ The miracle of providence and kind friends.

10:11 A message to our Foundation from YMCA Malta: "Am going to bother you again. Do you think you could manage to get us Easter eggs for 12 homeless children we are looking after?"

10:44 We reach out to Sarah Zammit Cutajar at PCutajar & Co Ltd and ask if they can help at a special price.

11:22 Sarah's reply: "Ready for collection and these are on us."

14:11 PM. Easter eggs delivered.

From first message to doorstep in under four hours. No red tape. No hesitation. Just people looking out for people.

On Easter Sunday, April 5th, twelve children who have very little will wake up to something sweet. And that small moment of joy exists entirely because of the kindness of souls like Sarah and the team at P. Cutajar & Co. This is what community looks like. This is why we do what we do.
