The beautiful story behind the Cute Sugar Bears k/a Zokkrinu & Zokkrina...

Nurse Claire had a wish, to help little children living with diabetes accept their new gadgets, which help to monitor their glucose levels through parent control.
Our amazing ladies gathered together and after many trials and pattern takes, corrections and more stitches..
Sugar Bear was born. 🩷🩵🐻
SB was to be bear coloured, soft enough to cuddle, big enough to carry gadgets, properly dressed, and cute as can be....

A wonderful sponsor, in the way of Daniel helped with needed supplies, Thankyou 💜

And a few weeks ago 48 insanely cute Sugar Bears dressed in pretty Zokkrina and Zokkrinu outfits were donated to the Insulin Pump Clinic.
We look forward to updates from Nurse Claire that each Sugar Bear settles into their new home with their new human friends.

Since early last year when Jojo Mifsud had asked the ladies' help with organising a memorial event for her daughter Johanna Boni, who was tragically killed 10 years ago, we have been making keychains of all the animals that Johanna loved, to include a pretty shell from her favourite beach at Scoglietti.
Last Sunday, a number of friends and bikers from different clubs got together for a bike ride, in spite of the chilly weather, to raise awareness for more road safety, followed by hot coffee and warm snacks at the Jokers clubhouse.

We are happy to announce that a total figure of €1738.97 was raised and presented to Hospice Malta .
Thank you to all who contributed to this worthy cause. A big thank you to those who donated leading up to and during the celebration. You all did Johanna very proud with your generosity. Much love and respect!

The ladies were honoured to have been asked to help with this special event, happening 11th January 2026!
remembering Johanna...
We created cute and beautiful keychains of all the animals that Johanna loved 😻🐺🦊🐰🐭🐻🐸🐢🐈‍⬛🐈🐕🐦🦜🐬, added a pretty shell, hand picked from Johanna's favourite beach in her home town Scoglietti.
A motor bike memorial ride ending up at the Jokers HQ where hot drinks, snacks and food will be available. Donations for Hospice Malta will be collected in exchange for a special keychain.
