Brothers down under in Australia out for a ride….

Dawn breaks on a new day.

The tomb is empty.

Christ is risen!

All that was thought lost has been reclaimed.

The chaos that dark forces seek to use to control lives destroyed.

The power of death has been broken.

The cycle of guilt, shame, condemnation and failure has been broken.

Relationship with God has been restored.

Hope has burst into the darkest places.

Freedom has been won.

God has made a way where there is seemingly no way!

All this is a free gift from God to anyone who wants it.

All that is needed is to welcome Jesus into your life and acknowledge Him as both your Lord and Saviour.

Make this Easter Sunday count and come home to God. You won’t regret it….

It’s Easter and it’s good Friday.

We are in liminal space. We’ve left one reality but not yet entered a new one. It’s a confusing time, but it’s a place where God more often than not meets with us.

Jesus is crucified and laid in a tomb, it feels like death; because it is.

Death of hopes and dreams for those first disciples and it can be a reminder for us of the deaths in our own lives.

Loss of hope, loss of health, loss of status, the pain from our pasts can be deep and the agreements we have often made can actually shut God out; but resurrection is coming….

Jesus rising from the dead, breaking the bonds of death and condemnation, leading people into freedom, making a way where there is seemingly no way and enabling us to reconnect with God’s love, forgiveness, mercy and peace.

That’s our hope for all of us this Easter and it’s our hope for anyone reading this whatever your losses and pain along the journey of life to date have been.

There is hope, God isn’t finished with you….there is still hope.

We’d encourage you to try speaking to God for yourself.

We’re fully paid up God botherers and God kinda expects it from us, but we’ve learned over the years that when people reach out and talk to God for themselves, often He meets them in their struggles and does remarkable things.

That’s the journey we’ve all made and our journeys to faith in Jesus never started with success. It always came on the back of failure and chaos.

But all of us in Longriders know a deep truth; that life can be radically different with Jesus and in surprisingly good ways.

Prayers for our brothers down under who are travelling to the Australian National run in Perth. All the chapters will be doing big miles as most chapters are either in South Australia or the East Coast, we’re not talking about days ride we’re talking 8500km round trip for some (5300 miles)! For some of the guy will be riding 10 days there and 10 days back, all to hang out with brothers, share stories and encourage each other in our faith and to do better and be better men. Longriders didn’t get the name for nothing I guess 😎

Wishing all our brothers and sisters supporters and friends around the world (as well as our haters 😎) a very Happy Christmas.

We hope it’s a time of peace, family, and Celebration for you all.

We know for many that Christmas is a hard time, often marked by sad memories that torment.

For others it’s a time of loneliness and isolation.

Our prayer for you would be that this Christmas you might engage in the true story of Christmas.

Not the commercially driven story about Santa or turkeys and presents, but the true meaning of Christmas:

• Christ coming as a baby.

• Light coming into darkness and darkness not being able to overwhelm the light

• Hope being restored where it’s hopeless

• God making a way where there is seemingly no way

• And the start of God’s rescue plan for humanity as a whole.
