✏️ Building the foundations for writing, one stroke at a time.

With the support of Write Start Occupational Therapist Michelle Abela, children practise simple pre-writing lines and shapes that help strengthen hand control, coordination and early pencil skills — important building blocks for learning to write letters and numbers.

For over 30 years, Inspire has supported children and families in Gozo from our premises in Għajnsielem. 💛

Building Strong Fingers Through Play!

Squeeze. Stretch. Pinch. Pull. Every little movement helps build important skills.

By searching for hidden objects inside putty, our young learner was strengthening fine motor skills, hand strength, finger dexterity and concentration — all important foundations for pencil control and early writing.

Sometimes, the best learning really does look like play.

This initiative is being supported by the Ministry for Gozo and Planning’s NGO Scheme, a funding programme for Voluntary Organisations on the Island of Gozo.
