Jasal fi tmiemu il-proġett edukattiv 'Scouts CARE - Cultivating Action through Responsible Education' bl-għan li jqajjem kuxjenza dwar il-protezzjoni tal-ambjent u l-immaniġjar tal-iskart ♻️🌳

Huwa importanti ferm li nedukaw lil uliedna mhux biss f’dak li huwa bżonnjuz fuq livell akkademiku, imma wkoll f’dak li huwa importanti għall-ħajja ta’ kuljum.

Introducing "Dgħajsa fl-ibħra tagħna", an artistic illustration created by the Venture Unit within the 1st Marsa Scout Group ⛵️

The exhibition is a 3D representation of the Marsa Cultural City 2022 logo, and is made entirely out of waste or discarded materials, including 400 plastic bottles, a fishing ghost net, PVC pipes, and used clothing and drapes.

This artistic piece is aimed at increasing awareness of the excessive amount of garbage found in our own seas.

Hats off to the Ventures for such a meaningful piece of art ⭐️

The exhibition will be on display in Gnien Belvedere in Marsa for the coming weeks.

Information session #5

This time, the Scouts CARE team joined up with the pack section within the 1st Hamrun Scout Group Duke of Argyll's Own, who were all highly enthusiastic about learning proper waste management techniques, together with some tips and tricks on how to reduce waste ♻️

Following this activity, all participants were given a Scouts CARE goodie bag containing reusable bottles and cutlery.

There are several other projects in the pipeline, so stay tuned to this page and follow us for more updates!
