💫Sena ġdida, u bdejna vjaġġ ġdid flimkien ma’ grupp ġdid ta’ residenti mill- RISe Foundation Malta
🚶♀️➡️🚶➡️L-ewwel sessjoni, biex ir-residenti jiġu familjari mal-kunċetti tal-proġett, waqt li jassorbu fost l-isbaħ xenarju li għandu l-pajjiż, iddeċidejna li nieħduhom għal avventura qasira minn Ġnejna sa Għajn Tuffieħa, minn fuq l-irdumijiet viċin tat-Torri tal-Lippija. F’nofs l-esperjenza, u b’veduta tal-baħar quddiemna, ir-residenti ntalbu jagħmlu 10 minuti fis-silenzju u josservaw lilhom infushom. Min jgħid li nnota frustrazzjoni, min paċi, u min taħwid u tgerfix ta’ ħsibijiet. 🧎♀️ 🧘
🔍🦉B’mod ta’ diskussjoni, ir-residenti infurmajnihom li l-punt ta’ dan l-eżerċizzju mhuwiex li tagħmel sens minn dak li qed tħoss jew taħseb, iżda li tipprattika l-abbiltà li tosserva internament mingħajr ġudizzju, mingħajr ma tiggaraf mal-kurrent tal-ħsibijiet u l-emozzjonijiet li jitilgħu. Din il-ħila, meta tiġi pprattikata b’attenzjoni u għarfien, toffri lill-bniedem sors ta’ saħħa kbira, li matul dan il-proġett se nkunu qed niddiskutu mar-residenti. 🏋️♀️
🦅Inħarsu ‘l quddiem biex flimkien ma’ dawn ir-residenti nkomplu nifhmu kif nistgħu ngħixu b’iktar preżenza, għall-ġid tagħna u għal dawk ta’ madwarna.

💫 A new year, and we began a new journey with a new group of residents from RISe Foundation Malta
🚶♀️➡️🚶➡️The first session was designed to help the residents become familiar with the concepts of the project, while they immersed themselves in some of the most beautiful scenery our country has to offer. We decided to take them on a short adventure from Ġnejna to Għajn Tuffieħa, along the cliffs near the Lippija Tower. In the middle of the experience, with the sea stretching out before us, the residents were invited to spend 10 minutes in silence, observing themselves. Some noticed frustration, others felt peace, and some experienced a flutter of confusing thoughts. 🧎♀️ 🧘
🔍🦉In the form of a discussion, the residents were reminded that the purpose of this exercise is not to make sense of what you feel or think, but to practice the ability to observe your inner world without judgment, without getting yourself carried away with the flow of thoughts and emotions that arise. This skill, when practiced with attention and awareness, provides a great source of inner strength. Throughout this project, we will continue to explore and discuss this concept with the residents. 🏋️♀️
🦅 We look forward to discovering how along with these residents we can learn how to live with greater presence, for our own wellbeing and for those around us.
