Sometimes, finding the right words is the beginning of understanding what we feel.
In sharing her experience of the Janas’s Emotional Survival Journey, Sarah speaks about something we rarely make enough room for in our everyday lives: the time to listen to ourselves.
The time to recognise what we carry within us. To acknowledge emotions that often remain unspoken. To explore the questions we sometimes struggle to face, and to feel genuinely seen and heard.
For Sarah, literature played a meaningful role in this process. Stories, images and metaphors became ways of connecting more deeply with her emotions, while the conversations offered space to reflect on experiences and feelings that are not always easy to put into words.
Her testimony touches on something that lies at the heart of Janas’s: Words do not simply describe our inner world. Sometimes, they help us discover it.
🙏🏻 Thank you, , for sharing your experience with such openness and sincerity, and for reminding us of the importance of making time and space for ourselves.
The Emotional Survival Journey is an invitation to explore what we feel through literature, reflection and conversation, without the expectation of having all the answers.
And if something in Sarah’s words resonates with you, perhaps this is a conversation worth beginning.
