Enemalta Scheduled Downtime Updates
Please find below a list of upcoming scheduled network maintenance and upgrade works which may necessitate temporary electricity supply interruptions in, or in parts of, the indicated streets. These works are carried out regularly throughout the year as part of the servicing and reinforcement requirements of the national electricity grid.
Regular maintenance of the electricity grid is an essential continuous process for Enemalta to ensure a safe and reliable distribution network across Malta and Gozo, to provide for changing electricity demands in different areas and to minimise the risks of unplanned supply interruptions. In scheduling these works, Enemalta seeks to identify dates and times that cause the least possible inconvenience to our customers, taking into consideration the different requirements of the areas affected.

Dear Residents,

Please be informed that the Council has instructed Enemalta Corporation personnel to remove the heavy machinery that has been left idle in Ċensu Bugeja Street for a number of days. The current parking arrangement poses a significant hazard to vehicular traffic in the area.

To this end, the Council has requested Enemalta personnel to direct their appointed contractor to demobilise the machinery without further delay.

Additionally, the Council has reported to Enemalta Corporation that the contractor has left debris on the pavements and adjoining properties.This situation is unfair to residents and requires urgent rectification.

Any inconvenience caused is regretted.
