⚜️ 25 Years of Scouting, Friendship and Adventure! 🎉

Today we proudly celebrate 25 years of Iklin Scout Group — a remarkable milestone built on dedication, commitment, friendship and countless unforgettable memories.

This success story would not have been possible without the incredible volunteers, past and present, who have generously given their time, energy and passion to make our Group what it is today.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who has been part of this journey! ❤️

Here’s to 25 years of making a difference in young people’s lives, and to many more years of adventure, growth and Scouting spirit!

🌍💻 JOTI 2026 – Connecting Beyond Borders! ⚜️🤝

What an amazing time we had at our JOTI 2026 activity with San Ġwann Pack! 💛💚

From fun ice-breakers and exciting games to an important internet safety talk, our Cubs enjoyed a fantastic day full of learning, laughter and friendship! 🎉

🌐 Connecting with Scouts from around the world
🎲 Breaking the ice with fun games
🛡️ Learning how to stay safe online
🌭 Sharing delicious hot-dogs
🤗 And most importantly… forging new connections and making new friends!

JOTI (Jamboree on the Internet) reminds us that Scouting goes far beyond our own groups. It brings young people together, builds friendships across borders and shows us that we are all part of one big worldwide Scouting family. ⚜️🌍

A big thank you to San Ġwann Cub Scouts for joining us and making this activity so special! ❤️

This event was proudly organised by Iklin Cub Scouts and San Ġwann Cub Scouts, bringing our young people together through the spirit of Scouting, friendship and adventure.

Because the best connections aren’t just made online… they’re the friendships we build along the way! 💚💛

🐴 Dirty hands, muddy shoes, but happy minds! 💚

This Friday afternoon, our Cubs and Moving-On Beavers visited RMJ Horse Rescue as part of our Community Service Programme. 🌿

From cleaning paddocks and shovelling dung to feeding and washing the horses, our young members rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in! 🧹🐎

But the best part? Spending time with these majestic creatures and learning the importance of caring for animals, giving back to our community, and helping wherever we can. ❤️

A little mud, a lot of hard work, and plenty of happy faces — what a wonderful afternoon! 🌟

Well done, Cubs and Moving-On Beavers! 👏

The adventure didn’t stop there… the hike was followed by an action-packed game of laser tag! 🎯😄

A fantastic evening filled with teamwork, adventure, laughter and plenty of memories. 💚

Well done to all our Cubs for taking on the challenge! 👏⭐

🎺⚜️ Project: Intanbru Tnejn ⚜️🎺

What once started as a dream is now becoming a reality.

Thanks to the BOOST Scheme administered by Aġenzija Żgħażagħ, the Iklin Scout Group is embarking on an exciting new journey to establish its first Scout Band. This investment in band equipment marks a significant milestone in our group's history and will provide new opportunities for our young people to learn, grow, and represent Iklin Scouts with pride.

We are grateful for the support received and look forward to hearing the first notes of what we hope will become a lasting tradition for generations of scouts to come.

🌿🥾 Cub Hike Adventure! 🥾🌿

Yesterday, our Cubs enjoyed a fun and educational hike, exploring the countryside and visiting a nearby cave. Along the way, they also practiced basic map orienteering skills and learned about the compass rose, helping them navigate their surroundings with confidence.

The adventure concluded with a pleasant walk back to Iklin, filled with teamwork, discovery, and plenty of smiles.

Well done to all our Cubs for their enthusiasm and adventurous spirit! 🐾🌍
