2 gold medals at the Trofeo Memorial Sara e Dario Secco in Italy: Mattea Mintoff & Alistair Sammut! Malta topped the medal table in this age category! Congrats! Proud of you! Keep them coming!

James Zahra had won the first gold medal for Maltese Judo in a continental open! He won gold in 60kgs at the Mandurah Oceanian Open. Well done James!

Malta Judo Federation General Secretary just submitted the exam for the IOC Certificate Safeguarding Officer in Sport, after 6 months of studying. This course was only possible thanks to the GSSE Legacy Fund offered by the Maltese Olympic Committee. Now fingers crossed until the result is received :-)

Huge congratulations to Mattea for reaching a monumental milestone for Maltese Judo. She has become the first-ever Maltese judoka to win a contest at a European Olympic Hopes event, defeating Lena Marie Josic (SRB) in a brilliant repechage performance.
