Malta - Darna: Working together for safe and affordable housing

On 19 December 2025, ŻĦN hosted a public seminar as part of its Malta-Darna project.

Made possible with the generous support of .bank, it brought together representatives from civil society, youth organisations, stakeholders and academics.

Keynote speakers were Claudio Farrugia, CEO of ; Dr Edgar Galea Curmi, Chair of the Poverty Research Observatory for Malta (PROMISE) at the University of Malta, and; Matthew Attard, President of .

On 30th December 1945, the ŻĦN movement founded in Malta by Fr Mikiel Galea sj held its first meeting at St Aloysius College.
