As part of the induction process for two of our newest Rovers, Andrew Lombardo and Yana Caruana, took on the challenge of preparing a full three-course meal in the outdoors, putting our teamwork, creativity, and cooking skills to the test.

From planning and preparation to cooking and serving, the evening was a great opportunity to showcase the spirit of Rovering: learning by doing, stepping outside our comfort zones, and sharing memorable experiences with others. We were also delighted to welcome friends from outside the Scout Movement, giving them a glimpse into the adventures, skills, and camaraderie that make Rovering so special.

A huge well done to everyone involved, especially our squires, who rose to the challenge!⚜️

Earlier this morning, we held an induction ceremony to welcome three new Rovers into the Crew, Jean Paul Micallef , Steven George Borg , and Anthea Farrugia, each of them having put in the effort and shown they’re ready for this next step in their journey. ⚜️

This was then followed up by some well earned pastizzi.

Proud to be part of a Crew built on commitment, service, and the effort to always show up for one another, no matter the hour.

A team of Rovers crossed the finish line at the Imqabba 5KM this morning, proudly wearing the group scarf. ⚜️

Today wasn’t just about the distance. It was about consistency, teamwork, and proving that small steps taken together lead to something bigger.

What started as a challenge a year ago kept pushing us to come back stronger, faster, and more determined.

One run at a time. One step further. Together.⚜️

As part of the Rover Programme, we strive to plan, act, and reflect in pursuit of self-improvement across all aspects of life. Activities such as these runs may appear small, yet they serve as important stepping stones along a much greater journey.

At the same time, we are reminded that our efforts are not solely for personal growth, but also in service of others.

As we prepare for the Mqabba 5K in aid of ALS Malta, every step carries meaning.

Not every journey is about the distance. Some are about reflection.

With the Puttinu Walk cancelled due to the weather, we created our own challenge this — an overnight 21.5km hike.

In the quiet of the night, step by step, we found time to pause, reflect, and grow together.

Different path, same spirit.

Today we participated in the Corsa - La Valette - 5km. We trained for this as a team and each of us came with our own individual goals to beat.

And in proper scouting fashion, we ended it with a bit of trekking.⚜️

Today we embarked on a different type of adventure. Where usually we venture the horizon, we decided to explore the verticals.
