Friends of Kenya Malta

It is a non-profit association called “FRIENDS OF KENYA MALTA” whose purpose is to:

1 Promote respect among different cultures
2 Conduct awareness campaigns in Europe and about problems existing in Kenya ;
3 Promoting well-being for all at all ages ;
4 Promoting self-sufficiency with partial courses in the schools and the villages to
teach some manual jobs, such as carpenter, ele

ctrician, dressmaker cook, etc.
5 To raise funds and good by means of events with the purpose to build schools with facilities for disabled people and support local health centres.
6 Organise at least two humanitarian expeditions a year with professionals volunteers of any sector needed in Kenya, it may include Doctors, Nurses, Psychologists, Learning support assistants, electricians, carpenters, cooks, scientists etc. with the goal to provide specific help to hospitals and schools and form local people to be self-sufficient.
7 Increase the recruitment development training and retention of a workforce.
8 Create projects to promote integration and social inclusion.
9 Promote cultural exchange among deaf people in Europe and in Kenya.
10 Improve local healthcare facilities by proving specific first-aid supplies, antibiotics and vaccines in collaboration with Maltese Pharmaceutical Company willing to donate medications for hospitals and health centres in Kenya.
11 Increasing the access to clean water and sanitation by means of building new water walls and provide soap to people in poor villages and schools; in addition, the organisation will provide small courses to teach the importance of self and environmental hygiene.
12 Create awareness about the importance of vaccinations and provide stocks to local health care.
13 Create a social and demographic profile for people with disability.
14 Organise sports tournaments among disabled people.
15 To do all that which is ancillary, incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objectives.
