iBiNs are to be used solely for recycling of Paper/Cardboard, Metal, Plastic and Glass.

Last week, in Triq Pietru Dacoutros, Santa Venera, the paper recycling bin was found to be filled with construction debris.

Hefty fines apply to anyone who misuses the iBiNs system.

An investigation is currently underway to identify those responsible for this misuse.
