Voices Malta VOICES Foundation is a voluntary organisation presenting live choir concerts to raise funds for charitable institutions.

VOICES started out as a choir of 75 singers in 1991 and performed its first concert at St. Aloysius College, B’Kara in aid of the new Sixth Form premises. The members had long been teamed up together, performing at various college activities and social functions. However, this concert was to be the first of a series of public appearances leading to the success VOICES enjoys today. Over the years, the number of choir singers grew to over 200 and concerts are now held every two years. During the first two weeks of October 2008, VOICES presented its latest concert VOICES – TELL ME WHY? at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta, during a run of 10 performances and to a record audience of over 13,000 people. None of the members of the VOICES choir, band or committee receive any form of remuneration for their services. To date, VOICES has contributed over one million Euro to various local and international charities including the Hospice Movement, Eden Foundation, Caritas, JRS, Cash for Cancer, YMCA, Fondazzjioni Suret il-Bniedem, Razzett tal-Hbiberija, Dar tal-Provvidenza, UNICEF, Amnesty International, Red Cross International, UNHCR (Malta) and others. Each series of concerts normally focuses on a particular theme. The 2006 concert centred around the “global family”. The 2004, 2002 and 2000 concerts focused on voluntary organizations. Funds raised were donated to such local and international charities. The 1998 concerts dealt with the refugee problem and funds raised were donated to local and international charities working for the refugee cause. Previous concerts focused on the theme of Children (Voices Forever Young – 1992), Unity (Voices as One – 1994) and the Environment (Voices for a Better World – 1996).

Some voices are never truly silenced. They’re just waiting for the right moment to be heard again. 🎶

For 25 years, VOICES brought people together through music, creating unforgettable performances, friendships and memories along the way.
Then, for 10 years, the stage went quiet.

Until now.
VOICES is back.
A new look. A new chapter.
The same passion for music and the power it has to bring us together.

This is VOICES 2027. And we can’t wait for you to be part of what comes next.

🎶 The stage is set. The voices are returning.

Every new chapter has a story behind it.

For 25 years, VOICES was built by people who gave their time, energy, creativity and heart to something they believed in.

Now, after a 10-year pause, that story is being passed on. ❤️
From the committee members who helped shape VOICES into what so many remember and love, to a new team ready to carry its spirit forward.

Different faces. A new generation. One shared belief in what VOICES can be.
The legacy continues. VOICES 2027 begins here. 🎶

To those who came before us: thank you.
To everyone joining us for what comes next: welcome.

We’ve been waiting a long time to say this…
We’re back. VOICES 2027.
