ฤฆamrun 147 A have booked their place in the Premier League Blackball final after a dramatic 21-18 victory over Qormi Pinto A in the semi-finals.

After losing the first leg 12-8, the ฤฆamrun side produced a strong comeback in the return match to overturn the deficit and secure their spot in the final.

They will now face Cospicua Rangers A in the final on Friday, 19 June. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

The Malta Blackball Pool Federation joins the national sports community in congratulating Hon Dr. Byron Camilleri on his appointment as Minister for Education and Sport.

The Federation looks forward to continue the collaboration with the Ministry this time under Hon Camilleri for the benefit and development of the various cue sports disciplines in Malta, particularly Blackball Pool.

In addition, the MBPF Executive Committee extends its gratitude to outgoing Minister for Education and Sport Hon Dr Clifton Grima for his sterling work in this sector and augur him all the best in his new role as Minister for Justice, Research and Innovation. His dedication to the sports sector, particularly to cue sports in general will not go unnoticed. The EXCO is thankful for the cooperation and support it received throughout his term in office, notably in hosting Euro 2023 and WC2024 on home soil and in the new premises at Maria Assunta ฤฆamrun.

The MBPF has published the end of season fixtures after the round robin phase of all leagues came to a close last week.

The first set of matches commence tomorrow as we have one decider match in the Regional League where Hamrun 147 C and San Gwann Tiki Taka Boys faces off for a place in their respective sections. Tomorrow will also see Qormi Pinto A and Hamrun 147 A battle it out in the first leg of the Premier League semi final.

The publication comprises of the below events:

2. Challenge League
3. Regional League
4. Community League
5. Amateur Trophy

Cospicua Rangers have returned to the top of the National Blackball Championship after an 11โ€“6 win over ฤฆamrun 147 A, moving to 18 points and opening a two-point lead over Qormi Pinto A. ๐Ÿ†

ฤฆamrun 147 responded earlier in the week with an 11โ€“9 win against Mrieฤงel Billiard House A.

In Regional Section A, Qormi Pinto B strengthened their lead at the top with a convincing 11โ€“3 victory over San ฤ wann Tiki Taka Boys.

In Regional Section B, ฤฆamrun 147 B kept their perfect record alive after eight matches, edging PL Balzan 11โ€“9, while Selmun Sports Club A and Siฤกฤกiewi Montekristo also picked up important wins.

PL Floriana continue to lead Community League Section A after an 11โ€“4 win over Siฤกฤกiewi Montekristo C, while two matches ended level at 10โ€“10.

In Community League Section B, ฤฆamrun 147 D remain in control of the standings after an 11โ€“8 win over PL Balzan B, holding a five-point lead over Birkirkara Boฤ‹ฤ‹i.
