The newly confirmed President Mr. Ousman Badjie and the out going Mr. Lamin Kanteh of the Gambian community in Nouakchott, Mauritania and team were received in audience at the Embassy of the Gambia by the Deputy Head of Mission Mr. Jereh Jammeh.
The outgoing President Mr. Lamine Kanteh introduces his successor to the deputy Head Mission, that his reign is due to by the end of December 2023. Therefore, the community unanimously confirm Mr. Ousman Badjie his former Auditor general to succeed the mantle.
Mr. Jereh Jammeh expressed his appreciation of the peaceful coexistence among the Gambian community and cordial relation between the community and the Embassy.
He thank the outgoing President for the tremendous sacrifices and achievements he registered for the Gambian residents in Mauritania. He prayed for his success, long life and good health.
Mr. Jammeh further thank Mr. Badjie for the trust bestowed on him and assured him the full support of the Embassy for the betterment of Gambian residents in the Islamic
