🌊 Starting the Year with Service to Our Shores 🌊

As part of our continued commitment to Rotary’s Area of Focus on Protecting the Environment, our club held a beach cleanup at Pak Pak Beach. Although parts of the beach are currently closed due to construction, we were still able to collect bags of litter and other discarded trash left behind in the area.

Pak Pak Beach holds special meaning for our club. In May 2024, we partnered with NMC’s ENRO Club, CNMI Forestry, and the Mariana Islands Nature Alliance for a tree-planting project at this very site. During the cleanup, we checked on the trees planted two years ago and are proud to see them growing well and unaffected by nearby development.

After the cleanup, Rotaractors gathered for a simple breakfast fellowship, continuing a long-standing tradition of sharing food and fellowship after a service project.

While organized cleanups make an impact, keeping our beaches clean is a community-wide responsibility. Protecting our island’s natural beauty requires daily awareness and shared accountability from all of us.

Celebrating 12 Years of Service ✨

On this day in 2014, the Rotaract Club of Northern Marianas College was officially chartered, a milestone that laid the foundation for what is now the Rotaract Club of Saipan.

From its beginnings as a college-based organization to its transition into a thriving community-based club, RAC Saipan proudly celebrates 12 years of Service Above Self and Fellowship Through Service. Through projects, partnerships, and leadership development, the club has remained committed to making a lasting impact on our members and on our island community.

Happy Charter Anniversary, RAC Saipan! 🎉

🚴 Helping End Polio Now! 🚴

Our club, alongside Interactors from Kagman High School, Marianas High School, and Saipan Community School, recently joined our Rotarian Aunts and Uncles from the Rotary Club of Saipan () in supporting their 3rd Annual End Polio Now Bike Race.

Rain or shine, we remain steadfast in our commitment to eradicating polio while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. We are grateful to the Rotary Club of Saipan for once again including the New Generations in this meaningful cause.

This year’s race also welcomed a special guest: Past District 2750 Governor (RY 23–24) Yoichiro Miyazaki of the Rotary Club of Tokyo Mitaka. It was a pleasure to welcome PDG Miyazaki back to our Pacific Basin Group.

🤝 New Year, New Members, Stronger Club 🤝

Our club held its first general membership meeting of 2026, and it was a packed one!

The January meeting included the long-awaited induction of two new Rotaractors, Alexi Rebuenog and Francine Rosauro, who had already demonstrated their commitment to Service Above Self and Fellowship Through Service even before their official induction.

The highlight of the meeting was our first-ever Annual Bylaws Review, as part of our commitment to being a more transparent and streamlined club following the adoption of our new bylaws in July.

🎄✨ Celebrating Fellowship, Service, and the Season ✨🎄

As part of the holiday season, our club gathered for our annual Christmas Party, a simple but meaningful time to reflect on a year of fellowship through service.

While the holidays may come and go, the spirit of service and compassion endures long after the season.

🎄 Spreading the Holiday Spirit 🎄

Last month, with the help of Saipan Southern High School Interact, our club continued its annual CHCC Christmas Caroling, bringing holiday joy and cheer to the hospital’s wards and dialysis center.

This tradition, which began prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, aims to uplift healthcare workers, patients, and families during the holiday season.

While the holidays may come and go, the spirit of service and compassion endures long after the season.

🤝 Uniting as One Pacific Basin Group 🤝

Our club, represented by President Richard Baleares and Secretary Eloise Lopez, joined our Rotaract brothers and sisters from the Rotaract Club of the Marianas for the annual District 2750 visit to the Pacific Basin Group (PBG).

As part of the visit, Rotaractors participated in a service project alongside RAC Marianas’ longtime community partner, Island Girl Power, reinforcing our shared commitment to service across the region. The visit also included a joint meeting where RY 25–26 District Rotaract Representative Kyosuke Tanaka and PBG Assistant Gi Nei provided updates on District 2750, and each club shared highlights of their activities and current initiatives.

We are grateful for the warm hospitality of our extended PBG family in Guam and were glad to once again connect with our District friends from Tokyo. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and seeing everyone again in the near future.

We’re always looking for new members! If you’re interested in joining, DM us on Instagram or reach out to any Rotaractor you know!

🍽️ Serving with Gratitude, Across Generations 🍽️

Our club, alongside the New Generations of the Rotary Club of Saipan, was honored to assist with Rotary Saipan’s Annual Manamko Thanksgiving Luncheon at the Office on Aging’s Manamko Center.

The Manamko Thanksgiving Luncheon is a longstanding service project of the Rotary Club of Saipan, spanning decades of care and community. Since the chartering of Rotaract and Interact on Saipan, the New Generations Clubs have proudly supported this meaningful tradition for nearly 10 years.

As always, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Rotary aunts and uncles for welcoming us into this cherished annual service project and for their continued mentorship, guidance, and example of Service Above Self.

We’re always looking for new members! If you’re interested in joining, DM us on Instagram or reach out to any Rotaractor you know!

🤝 Reflection, Momentum, and Looking Ahead 🤝

Our club held its final formal general membership meeting of 2025 last November!

The meeting served as a recap of a busy and impactful October, highlighting our involvement in Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Rotary Club of Saipan’s Halloween Trunk or Treat, and our annual Purple Pinkie Project in collaboration with the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

We’re always looking for new members! Interested in joining? DM us on Instagram or reach out to any Rotaractor you know.

💜 Joining the Fight to End Polio 💜

Joining the international fight against polio, our club, alongside Northern Marianas College’s Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, held the Purple Pinkie Project at NMC’s Mango Terrace to raise awareness and support Rotary International’s global efforts to eradicate polio. This marks the third consecutive year the initiative has been held on campus.

In countries where polio vaccination campaigns are active, volunteers mark a vaccinated child’s pinkie finger with purple dye to indicate they’ve received the vaccine, a simple act that inspired the Purple Pinkie Project.

We’re deeply grateful for the NMC community’s continued support in helping move the world closer to a polio-free future!
