Mongolian National Association of Food and Agriculture

Mongolian National Association of Food and Agriculture MNAFA is the largest Association of Mongolia representing smallholder and family farmers engaged in horticulture and small-scale livestock farming.

The Mongolian National Association of Food and Agriculture (MNAFA) was formed on 19 February 2009, first as the Capital City Association of Food and Agriculture. By 2010, the Association has reached the level of a national organization, with its branch associations established in all of 21 provinces of Mongolia. MNAFA represents smallholder and family farmers engaged in horticulture and small-scal

e livestock farming, pig, poultry and rabbit farming and aquaculture. In 2013, the Association had over 13,000 members and its membership is increasing day by day as many more of farmer groups, women's groups, individual farms, partnerships and cooperatives express their interest to join the Association from all over the country.
