Showdown MN Working to bring the sport of "Showdown" to Mongolia for visually impaired athletes These future trainers are especially interested in the sport of Showdown.

MNFB is currently looking for funding to invite a Showdown trainer to Mongolia. MNFB is working in cooperation with the International Blind Sport Association, IBSA, and Danish Association of the Blind, DAB. The trainer will prepare a select group of Mongolian visually impaired members to be future volunteer trainers. And MNFB Branch Coordinators will be randomly selected to also participate. Durin

g 2-days of training by the invited Trainer from IBSA Showdown Committee, there will be 25 participants. These will be representatives of visually impaired members who would like to compete, and MNFB branch coordinators whom who will learn enough about Showdown so that they can help spread this sport in their provinces. The project aims to eventually prepare Showdown players who could participate in international para-athlete competitions.
