When you’ve planned, scouted, organized and ridden two of the world’s longest charity rides in history… you learn a thing or two about adventures.
Like how astonishing it is to be in the wild, sleeping on the land under the stars and seeing new sights each day from the back of your horse.
Like how cool and reverent it is to come upon deer stones or kherigseers or petroglyphs standing in silence on the land and carrying messages from ancient peoples.
Messages that call to your soul and show you how your life is a glittering thread in this tapestry we call humanity.
And humanity is what all of it is about. The riders, the crew, the ancients and the locals..,all working together to experience the last unbroken horse culture on the planet AND help children in need.
We won't be doing any more 4,000 km expeditions. But everything we've learned along the way is going into creating one extraordinary, carefully crafted Blue Wolf Totem Expedition each year, alongside our legendary Gobi Gallop.
In 2027 we’re heading up to Khovsgul in late winter (Feb/March) to experience the Tsaatan people’s life with their reindeer herds in the beauty of their snow draped winter and spend days gliding across the glittering, frozen lake Khovsgul on a traditional horse chariot.
In 2028 it looks like we’ll be headed west for 3 1/2 weeks in June/July to experience Zavkhan, Ovs and Khovd provinces. Details of that adventure will be on our brand new website SOON!
In the meantime, please know that we’re still over here planning exceptional adventure like no others for a select group each year.
It’s in our blood.
