“Green In Heart” is an environmental non-profit organization with a commitment to foster civic engagement in environmental conservation, and to develop and actualize green action plan through sharing, creating network and collaboration. This organization is initiated by youths from different academic and professional background with strong spirit of volunteerism and strong willingness to contribut
e to sustainable development of Myanmar in the aspect of environmental conservation.
“Green In Heart” is an independent body. The Organization does not have any relationship or partnership with political parties. Volunteers and members of “Green In Heart” will take responsibility for sustainable existence of the Organization, and it is not under control or under authority of an individual or any other group or organization. Although financial or technical supports are necessary to achieve the goals of the Organization, those supports should not compromise freedom, honor, reputation, goals and objectives of the Organization “Green In Heart”. Every activity and task performed by the Organization should be a collective approach and represent the solidarity and team spirit of the Organization. The main goals of the Organization are
1. To raise environmental awareness of general public (sustainable behavior and attitude) through campaigns and projects.
2. To instil the spirit of loving nature into younger generation through environmental education and a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities.
3. To create network, collaborate and cooperate with other organizations in conservation works.
4. To strengthen team spirit and volunteering spirit of each and everyone in the Organization. There will be three components in attempt to achieve Organization’s goals. Component (1), Green Movement: Technical and strategic action plans, projects and campaigns in cooperation with governmental and non-governmental organization. Component (2), Environmental Education: Educating general public, especially younger generations of elementary and secondary education level. Component (3), Charity: Providing small financial support to children without access to basic education
