မတ္တရာတွင် အထူးသဖြင့် ကျေးလက်ဒေသတွေမှာ နေထိုင်နေတဲ့ အချို့ ရပ်ရွာလူထုတွေအတွက် ကျန်းမာရေးစောင့်ရှောက်မှုတွေ ရရှိနိုင်ဖို့က နေ့စဥ်အခက်အခဲတစ်ခုလို ဖြစ်နေပါတယ်။
မြို့နယ်အတွင်း ကျန်းမာရေးစောင့်ရှောက်မှုဆိုင်ရာ ဝန်ဆောင်မှုတွေ ပိုမိုအားကောင်းလာစေဖို့ ထောက်ကူတဲ့အနေနဲ့ မန္တလေးမှာရှိတဲ့ အိုင်စီအာရ်စီအဖွဲ့က မတ္တရာမြို့နယ်ကျန်းမာရေးဦးစီးဌာနကို လူထုကျန်းမာရေးလုပ်သားများအတွက် မွမ်းမံသင်တန်းတစ်ခု ကျင်းပနိုင်ဖို့ ပံ့ပိုးကူညီခဲ့ပါတယ်။
ကျန်းမာရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာနက ချမှတ်ထားတဲ့ သင်ရိုးညွှန်းတမ်းကို အခြေခံပြီး ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့တဲ့ ဒီသင်တန်းမှာ ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်သူတွေက အရေးကြီးတဲ့ စံသတ်မှတ်ချက်တွေနဲ့ ကိုက်ညီတဲ့ အခြေခံကျန်းမာရေးစောင့်ရှောက်မှုဆိုင်ရာဝန်ဆောင်မှုတွေပေးအပ်ရာမှာလိုအပ်တဲ့ အသိပညာနဲ့ ကျွမ်းကျင်မှုတွေကို ပြန်လည်လေ့လာနိုင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ သင်တန်းသားတွေကို သူတို့ရဲ့ရပ်ရွာလူထုတွေလိုအပ်တဲ့အချိန်မှာ အဆင့်မြင့်ကျန်းမာရေးစောင့်ရှောက်မှုတွေရရှိနိုင်စေဖို့ ရှိရင်းစွဲကျန်းမာရေးအဆောက်အအုံတွေနဲ့ သူတို့ရပ်ရွာကလူထုအကြား လူနာလွှဲပြောင်းပို့ဆောင်နိုင်ဖို့နဲ့ ညှိနှိုင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုတွေမှာ ထောက်ပံ့ကူညီသွားမယ့် အရေးကြီးချိတ်ဆက်ဆောင်ရွက်သူ အခန်းကဏ္ဍကနေ ပိုမိုဆောင်ရွက်သွားနိုင်စေဖို့ အားပေးမြှင့်တင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။
“ကျွန်မတို့ရွာမှာ လူတော်တော်များများက တောထဲမှာ ထင်းရှာတာတွေ၊ ရွှေတွင်းမှာ အလုပ်လုပ်တာတွေ များကြတော့ ငှက်ဖျားကူးစက်ခံရတာများတယ်။ ဒါကြောင့် ကျွန်မက သူတို့ကို လိုအပ်တဲ့အချိန်တိုင်းမှာ ငှက်ဖျားစစ်ပေးပါတယ်။ ဒီသင်တန်းက ကျွန်မမှာရှိပြီးသား အသိပညာတွေကို ထပ်ပြီးတော့မှ မှတ်မိလာစေတဲ့အတွက် ကျန်းမာရေးစောင့်ရှောက်မှုတွေကို ပိုပြီး ထိထိရောက်ရောက်ပေးနိုင်ဖို့ ထောက်ကူပေးပါတယ်။” လို့ သင်တန်းသားတစ်ဦးက ပြောပါတယ်။

In Madaya, access to healthcare remains a daily challenge for some communities, particularly those living in rural areas.
To help strengthen healthcare services in the township, the ICRC team in Mandalay supported the Madaya Township Health Department in organizing a Community Health Worker Refresher Training.
Based on the Ministry of Health’s training curriculum, participants refreshed their knowledge and skills in delivering standardized essential primary healthcare services. They also strengthened their role as a vital link between their communities and existing health facilities, supporting referrals and coordination to ensure community members can access advanced healthcare when needed.
“In my village, many people are infected with malaria because they collect firewood in the forest and work in gold mines. That’s why I provide malaria tests whenever I can. This training refreshed my knowledge and will help me provide healthcare services more effectively,” shared one participant.
