ဆရာ (Guru) ဟူသည် လုံခြုံစိတ်ချမှု၊ ချစ်ခြင်းမေတ္တာ နှင့် အကောင်းမွန်ဆုံး ချမ်းသာကြွယ်ဝခြင်းတို့၏ သင်္ကေတ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ဆရာ နှင့် အတူတည်ရှိနေခွင့်သည် မြင့်မြတ်သော ပင်ကိုယ်နှင့် တည်ရှိသကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်သည်။

ဘဝရဲ့ ဦးတည်ရာလမ်း‌‌သည် ချစ်ခြင်းမေတ္တာတရားသာ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ချစ်ခြင်းမေတ္တာသာ မရှိလျှင် ချမ်းသာ ကြွယ်ဝခြင်းသည်လည်း တန်ဖိုးမရှိနိုင်ပါ။ ချစ်ခြင်းမေတ္တာသာ မရှိလျှင် လောကုတ္တရာလမ်းကြောင်း (စိတ်ပိုင်းဆိုင်ရာ သွားသည့်လမ်းကြောင်း)သည်လည်း တန်ဖိုးမရှိ ခြောက်သွေ့နေပါလိမ့်မည်။
