"ကျွန်မတို့ ရက်ကန်း ပြန်ရက်နိုင်ပြီဆိုတော့ မိသားစုကို အဆင်ပြေပြေ ထောက်ပံ့ပေးနိုင်တော့မှာပါ။"

၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ် ငလျင်ဒဏ်ကြောင့် ထိခိုက်ခဲ့ရပြီးနောက် ရှမ်းပြည်နယ်က ထိခိုက်လွယ်တဲ့ လူထုလူတန်းစားတွေဟာ စိုက်ပျိုးရေးကနေ ဒေသတွင်း စီးပွားရေးလုပ်ငန်းတွေအထိ ပြန်လည်ဦးမော့လာနေပြီ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ UNDP နဲ့ ကိုရီးယားသမ္မတနိုင်ငံ အစိုးရတို့ဟာ REVIVE အစီအစဉ်ကတစ်ဆင့် ရှမ်းပြည်နယ်က လူထုနဲ့အတူ လက်တွဲရပ်တည်ခွင့်ရတဲ့အတွက် ဂုဏ်ယူမိပါတယ်။ ဒေသခံတောင်သူတွေ၊ ရက်ကန်းပညာရှင်တွေနဲ့ မိသားစုတွေ ပိုမိုခိုင်မာတဲ့ အနာဂတ်ကို ကိုယ်တိုင်တည်ဆောက်နိုင်ဖို့ လိုအပ်တဲ့ ပံ့ပိုးမှုတွေပေးရင်း သူတို့ရဲ့ ဘဝနဲ့ အသက်မွေးဝမ်းကျောင်းလုပ်ငန်းတွေ ပြန်လည်ထူထောင်နိုင်အောင် ကူညီပေးနေပါတယ်။

"Now that we can weave again, we can finally support our families."

From agriculture to local businesses, vulnerable communities in Shan State are moving forward after the 2025 earthquake. Through the REVIVE initiative, UNDP and the Government of the Republic of Korea are proud to stand hand in hand with communities in Shan State — supporting local farmers, weavers, and families as they rebuild their lives, ensuring they have the tools to build a stronger tomorrow.

အကျပ်အတည်းတွေတိုင်းမှာ ဇာတ်လမ်းပေါင်းများစွာ ရှိနေပါတယ်။

#မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှာ မိသားစုကို ပြုစုစောင့်ရှောက်နိုင်ဖို့ ကြိုးစားခဲ့တဲ့ အမျိုးသမီးတစ်ဦးရဲ့ ခိုင်မာတဲ့စိတ်ဓာတ်နဲ့၊ အကျပ်အတည်းတွေကြားမှာ အတူတကွ ရပ်တည်ဖို့ ရွေးချယ်ခဲ့တဲ့ ရပ်ရွာတစ်ခုရဲ့ ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်တို့က တူညီတဲ့ စိန်ခေါ်မှုတွေကို မတူညီတဲ့လမ်းကြောင်းတွေကနေ ဘယ်လို ရင်ဆိုင်ဖြတ်ကျော်ခဲ့ကြတယ်ဆိုတာကို ပြသနေပါတယ်။

သူတို့ရဲ့ အတွေ့အကြုံတွေက ဒီကနေ့ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှာ အမျိုးသမီးအများအပြား ရင်ဆိုင်နေရတဲ့ အခြေအနေတွေကို ပိုပြီးမြင်သာစေပါတယ်။

မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှာရှိတဲ့ အမျိုးသမီးတွေဟာ အကျပ်အတည်း ဝန်ထုပ်ဝန်ပိုးတွေကို မညီမျှစွာ ထမ်းထားကြရပါတယ်။ အမျိုးသမီး ၄၂ ရာခိုင်နှုန်းက ဝင်ငွေလုံးဝမရှိကြောင်း ဖော်ပြထားကြပြီး ဒီနှုန်းဟာ အမျိုးသားတွေရဲ့ နှုန်းထက် နှစ်ဆနီးပါး ပိုများနေပါတယ်။ တစ်ချိန်တည်းမှာပဲ အခကြေးငွေမရတဲ့ အိမ်ထောင်ပြုစုစောင့်ရှောက်မှုဆိုင်ရာ ဝန်ထုပ်ဝန်ပိုးကိုလည်း အမျိုးသားတွေထက် နှစ်ဆနီးပါး ပိုမိုထမ်းဆောင်နေရပါတယ်။

In , one woman's determination to care for her family and one community's decision to work together through crisis reveal different paths through the same challenges. Their experiences offer a window into the realities many women in Myanmar face today.

Women across the country are absorbing the weight of crisis: 42% report no income at all, nearly double the rate for men, while carrying almost twice the unpaid care burden.

What does development really look like in Myanmar today?

For one community leader in Kalaw Township, it looks like fields once destroyed by a typhoon are today producing three harvests a year, thanks to support that went beyond emergency aid.

UNDP Myanmar's Resident Representative, Norimasa Shimomura, explains why linking emergency relief to longer-term recovery is key to helping communities break out of the cycle of crisis, rather than just surviving the next one.

🇯🇵 🤝🇲🇲 When communities fall, solidarity lifts them back up.

Recently, Japan's Chargé d'Affaires visited ongoing recovery project sites in Mandalay alongside a delegation from the 在ミャンマー日本国大使館/Embassy of Japan in Myanmar, meeting communities and seeing recovery in action.

Since the 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck near Sagaing in 2025, UNDP has been working side by side with earthquake-affected communities and with the support of Japan on:

🧱 Clearing thousands of tons of earthquake debris from neighbourhoods to restore safety and mobility
🏗️ Demolishing unsafe, damaged structures that posed ongoing risks to residents
♻️ Promoting recycling and sustainable waste management practices
🏫 Repairing and rebuilding community infrastructure

Together with the Government of Japan, UNDP is working to reach close to one million people across Myanmar with earthquake recovery support. That work is well underway.

This is more than rebuilding. It is a commitment from the people of Japan to the people of Myanmar.
