" The Association of Myanmar Mining Engineers " The AMME is solidly founded in August 2009 on the platform to pool and synergize the creative power of all mining engineers, B.E (Mining) or equivalent. To help move the organization forward, an EC has been set up and with the consent of all the members, the organization named as "Mining Engineers Family (MEF)". Membership is free to all, in Myanmar
or abroad, bachelor and post-graduate degree and/ or graduate diploma holders in mining engineering discipline. Our primary objective is to help ease out the social problems or inconvenience of all members with a sympathetic provision and spiritual uplift; secondly, we would annually schedule and arrange a concise and close get-together for homage to the experienced elders and knowledge sharing amongst us all; the never-ending commitment for the last is to revive generation of mining engineers to the full and share the responsibilities both for sustainable mining and healthy Earth. With such commitment, the organization requests the generous contribution, willing cooperation, and intelligent inputs from all members as well as stake holders - interdependent partners as geologists, metallurgists and material scientists, or any other disciplines and business developers to foster a win-win situation and result in a mutual benefit. Having witnessed the fruitful result of our collective effort and progress of the organization, MEF will tune in the stream of globalization, renaming, restructuring and reorganizing itself as international organization.
