Pyi Gyi Khin is Non-Governmental Organization (Reg No. 2019) at Ministry Of Home Affair and it was founded in 1997 to empower the vulnerable women and children in Myanmar regardless of race, religion and ethnicity through enhancing basic education, health and socio-economic status. Pyi Gyi Khin (PGK) has been working in services delivery programs to increase access to HIV prevention and treatment

services, MDRTB program and promotion of rights of vulnerable groups and advocacy for spaces for civil societies since 1998. PGK has also focused on not only services delivery but also advocacy for health policy to create role of civil society and law reform in freedom of association and HIV related Human Right. PGK has started to extend its advocacy in creating civic spaces since 2013 by engaging Association Registration Law reform process. In 2015, PGK has also working in building awareness of Right to Information among CSOs. PGK has been an elected member of Myanmar Country Coordination Mechanism ( M-CCM ) representing local community based organizations and also a member of National Technical and Strategic Group on HIV and also member of enabling legal environment for CSO working group.
