လွန်ခဲ့တဲ့လက၊ Circular Innovation Bootcamp for Startups and Youth Team ရဲ့ ဒုတိယအစီအစဉ်ကို မန္တလေးမြို့မှာ ပထမအကြိမ်အောင်မြင်စွာပြုလုပ်ပြီးနောက် တောင်ကြီးမြို့မှာ ကျင်းပခဲ့ပါတယ်။ (ဒီဇင်ဘာ ၂၀၂၄ မှာ မန္တလေးမြို့မှာ ပထမဆုံး bootcamp စတင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။)
တောင်ကြီးမြို့က လူငယ်တွေ၊ Startup အသိုင်းအဝိုင်းတွေရဲ့ စိတ်ဝင်စားမှုမြင့်မားတာကို မြင်ရတဲ့အတွက် ကျွန်တော်တို့ အရမ်းဝမ်းသာခဲ့ပါတယ်။ အရမ်းများပြားတဲ့လျှောက်လွှာတွေရရှိခဲ့ပြီး ပါဝင်သူ ၃၀ ကျော်နဲ့ bootcamp စတင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ အများစုက Program တစ်လျှောက်လုံး တက်ကြွစွာပါဝင်ခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။
တောင်ကြီးမြို့ရဲ့ သာယာတဲ့ ရာသီဥတုနဲ့အတူ၊ စွန့်ဦးတီထွင်မှု၊ ဆန်းသစ်တီထွင်မှုနဲ့ Circular Economy အယူအဆတွေကို အာရုံစိုက်ထားတဲ့ ကျွန်တော်တို့ရဲ့ ပထမဆုံး လေ့ကျင့်သင်ကြားမှုအပိုင်းကို စတင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။
အမေရိကန်သံရုံး (ရန်ကုန်) မှ Public Affairs Officer ဖြစ်သူ Ms. Heidi Smith က Program ကို တရားဝင်ဖွင့်လှစ်ပေးခဲ့ပါတယ်။ သူမက မကြာသေးခင်က ငလျင်ကြီးဖြစ်ပွားပြီးနောက်မှာ ဒီလိုအစီအစဉ်မျိုးကျင်းပနိုင်တာကို မြင်ရတဲ့အတွက် ဝမ်းသာကြောင်း၊ စွန့်ဦးတီထွင်မှု၊ ဆန်းသစ်တီထွင်မှုနဲ့ ရေရှည်တည်တံ့ခိုင်မြဲမှုနယ်ပယ်တွေမှာ လေ့လာသင်ယူဖို့ လူငယ်တွေနဲ့ startup တွေရဲ့ ဇွဲလုံ့လကို အသိအမှတ်ပြုခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ပြီးတော့ ဒီ bootcamp ကနေ startup အသစ်တွေပေါ်ထွက်လာနိုင်တဲ့ အလားအလာကိုလည်း မျှော်လင့်ထားကြောင်း ပြောကြားခဲ့ပါတယ်။
ပြီးတော့ Maple-29 Clothing Brand ရဲ့တည်ထောင်သူ Khon Ngon Chit ကို ဧည့်သည်တစ်ဦးအနေနဲ့ ဖိတ်ကြားခဲ့ပါတယ်။ သူမက "Zero Waste Collection" ကတစ်ဆင့် Circular innovation ကို အသက်သွင်းနေသူဖြစ်ပြီး၊ zero-waste fashion ကို ဖောက်သည်တွေက ဘယ်လိုတုံ့ပြန်ခဲ့သလဲ၊ ရင်ဆိုင်ခဲ့ရတဲ့အခက်အခဲတွေ၊ အခုဆိုရင် သူမရဲ့ brand က product-market fit ရှာဖွေနိုင်လာပုံ အစရှိတဲ့ တန်ဖိုးရှိတဲ့ အတွေ့အကြုံတွေကို မျှဝေခဲ့ပါတယ်။
ပါဝင်သူတွေက customer persona ဖန်တီးခြင်း၊ empathy mapping၊ Value Proposition Canvas သုံးပြီး ဆန်းသစ်တီထွင်မှုကို ဖော်ထုတ်ခြင်း၊ အဖွဲ့လိုက်ဆွေးနွေးမှုများ၊ prototyping နဲ့ နောက်ဆုံး pitching session တွေအထိ လက်တွေ့လုပ်ဆောင်မှုတွေမှာ တက်ကြွစွာပါဝင်ခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။ အဖွဲ့ ၅ ဖွဲ့က သူတို့ရဲ့အိုင်ဒီယာတွေကို မိတ်ဆက်ခဲ့ကြပြီး၊ အကောင်းဆုံးအိုင်ဒီယာတွေကို အားပေးမှုအနေနဲ့ ဆုလေးတွေချီးမြှင့်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။

Last month, the Circular Innovation Bootcamp for Startups and Youth Teams held its second cohort in Taunggyi, Shan State, following the successful launch of the first bootcamp in Mandalay back in December 2024.
We were thrilled to see strong interest from the youth and startup communities in Taunggyi, receiving a high number of applications. The bootcamp began with over 30 participants, most of whom stayed engaged and active throughout the program.
With favorable weather in Taunggyi, we kicked off the first part of our training, which focused on entrepreneurship, innovation, and circular economy concepts.
The program was officially opened by Heidi Smith, Public Affairs Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Yangon, who expressed her excitement to see such an initiative taking place, especially in the aftermath of the recent earthquake. She commended the commitment of the youth and startups in continuing to learn and grow in the fields of entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainability. She also shared her enthusiasm about the potential emergence of new startups from the bootcamp.
We also welcomed a guest speaker, Khon Ngon Chit, the founder of Maple-29 Clothing Brand, who is actively practicing circular innovation through her “Zero Waste Collection.” She shared valuable insights about her journey—how customers have responded to zero-waste fashion, the challenges she faced, and how her brand is now finding product-market fit.
Participants engaged in a series of hands-on activities, including customer persona development, empathy mapping, identifying innovation using the Value Proposition Canvas, group discussions, prototyping, and final pitching sessions. Six groups presented their ideas, and the most promising ones received small prizes as encouragement.
