Relief and Rehabilitation Support for Flood-Affected Communities in Southern Shan State
On 9th September 2024, heavy rains and subsequent flooding severely impacted several regions of Myanmar, including our project area in Southern Shan State. Thousands of families were displaced, and there was widespread destruction of homes, farmlands, and critical infrastructure. The affected communities are now in urgent need of food, clean water, medical care, and shelter.
Saetanar NGO provided immediate relief and rehabilitation support to 8,500 families affected by severe flooding in Southern Shan. Our primary goal is to deliver emergency rice, oil, kitchen sets, and other essential material supplies to these communities.

၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ် စက်တင်ဘာလ ၉ ရက်နေ့တွင် မိုးသည်းထန်စွာ ရွာသွန်းပြီး၊ ရေကြီးမှုကြောင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ ဒေသအချို့အပါအဝင် ရှမ်းပြည်နယ်တောင်ပိုင်းရှိ စေတနာအဖွဲ့၏ စီမံကိန်းဒေသတွင် ပြင်းထန်စွာ ထိခိုက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထိုရေကြီးမှုကြောင့် စိုက်ပျိုးမြေများနှင့် အရေးကြီးသော အခြေခံ အဆောက်အအုံ များ ပျက်စီးခဲ့ပြီး၊ ထောင်ပေါင်းများစွာသော မိသားစုများ နေအိမ် စွန့်ခွာ ခဲ့ရပြီး၊ အစားအစာ၊ သောက်သုံးရေ၊ ဆေးဝါးနှင့် နေအိမ်များ အရေးပေါ် အကူအညီလိုအပ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
စေတနာအဖွဲ့သည် ရှမ်းပြည်နယ် တောင်ပိုင်းတွင် ဖြစ်ပွားခဲ့သော အဆိုပါ ရေကြီးမှုကြောင့် ထိခိုက်မှု ကြုံခဲ့ရသော မိသားစု ၈,၅၀၀ အတွက် အရေးပေါ်ကယ်ဆယ်ရေးနှင့် ပြန်လည်နေရာချထားရေး အထောက်အပံ့များ ပံ့ပိုး ပေးအပ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထိုဒေသခံများအား အရေးပေါ် လိုအပ်သော ဆန်၊ ဆီ၊ မီးဖိုချောင်သုံးပစ္စည်းများနှင့် အခြားလိုအပ်သော အထောက်အပံ့ပစ္စည်းများ ပေးအပ်ခဲ့ကြပြီး ဖြစ်ပါ သည်။
