I live my life inside these cold steel cages, where I can barely move and there is no hope of freedom, no chance to run, no chance to feel the world outside. Every day feels the same, filled with fear and waiting, knowing what is coming next. For humans, my life means nothing more than food on a plate, just a piece of meat to enjoy. When they sit and eat, they don’t see this place, they don’t hear our cries, they don’t feel the pain we go through in the slaughterhouse. They only taste the flavor and enjoy the moment, while our suffering is forgotten like it never existed. But I feel everything, the fear, the pain, the sadness, and I wish someone could see me not as food, but as a life that wanted to live.

Are you able to feel what I feel? The moment my babies are born, humans come and take them away from me, as if my love does not matter. I am their mother, and just like any mother, my babies need me, my warmth, my care. But to them, my children are not seen as babies who need their mother—they are just pigs, not puppies or pets, so my pain is ignored. I cry, I shout, I beg for them to give my babies back, but no one listens. They take them away only because someone wants to eat them, as if their lives mean nothing. But to me, they are not food—they are my little children, my heart. I don’t even get a chance to say goodbye, because I am kept trapped in this cage, helpless and broken, while my babies are taken far away from me.
