What to wear probably causes the most anxiety.

Whether on the phone, video or in person, you should dress up for an interview to show the organization that you take the process seriously, to make yourself feel good, to send your brain the implicit signal that the interview is important, and so that you’ll feel at ease during the process.

If the recruiter hasn’t issued any instructions, and you haven’t asked, then the rule of thumb is that it’s fine to be as, or more, smartly dressed than the recruiters.

So even if they wear jeans and T-shirts, wearing more formal clothes is fine. Once you have the job, you can adopt the house style of jeans and T-shirts.

Make sure you demonstrate active listening.

Active listening is showing the other person that you’re really interested in what they are saying: it’s not enough just to be listening and talking it all in – you must show the other person that you’re doing that.

So write notes(ideally by hand as a tablet or laptop will create a physical barrier that you don’t want), nod, and summaries; for example, you might say, “Let me just check that I’ve understood that correctly, did you say…..?”

It shows you’ve been listening, making the effort to write it down and to get it right, and it also gives the other person a chance to correct or enlarge on the point.

အကယ်၍များ တွေ့ဆုံမှုတစ်ခုပြီးဆုံးသွားတဲ့အချိန်မှာ သင်ရရှိခဲ့တဲ့အဆက်အသွယ်တွေနဲ့ပတ်သက်ပြီးစိတ်ဝင်စားတယ်ဆိုရင် သင်ဟာနောက်ထပ်လုပ်ငန်းစဥ်တစ်ခုကို ထပ်မံစတင်လို့ရပါပြီ။

သင်ရရှိခဲ့တဲ့အဆက်အသွယ်တွေက သင်နဲ့မရင်းနှီးတာကြောင့် ထိုသူတွေကို Email ပို့မယ်ဆိုရင် “ Mary suggested I contact you” စသဖြင့်အစပြုပြီးပို့နိုင်ပါတယ်။

ဒီလိုမျိုးအစပြုပြီးဆက်သွယ်ခြင်းက တစ်ဖက်သူအတွက်လဲ သိသာမြင်သာစေတဲ့အတွက် အဆင်ပြေနိုင်သလို သင့်အနေနဲ့ကလဲ သင့်ကို contact ပေးခဲ့တဲ့သူအပေါ်မှာ လေးစားမှုရှိကြောင်းကို ပြသရာရောက်ပါတယ်။

သင်ထပ်မံရရှိခဲ့တဲ့အဆက်အသွယ်တွေတော်တော်များများနဲ့ တွေ့ဆုံခဲ့ပြီးပြီဆိုရင်တော့ နောက်ထပ်တစ်ဆင့်အနေနဲ့ သင်စိတ်မဝင်စားတဲ့လုပ်ငန်းတွေရှိတယ်ဆိုရင် အဲ့ဒီ့လုပ်ငန်းနဲ့သက်ဆိုင်တဲ့အဆက်အသွယ်တွေနဲ့ မတွေ့ဆုံ‌တော့လို့ရပါတယ်။

သင့်မှာတခြားသောတွေ့ဆုံမှုတွေရှိသလို သင်ထပ်မံလေ့လာရမယ့်အရာတွေလဲရှိတာကြောင့် တချို့သောသူတွေက သင့်ရဲ့တောင်းဆိုမှုကိုပြန်လည်မတုန့်ပြန်ဘူးဆိုရင်တောင်မှ စိတ်ပူစရာမလိုသလို အဲ့အတွက်ကြောင့် စိတ်ဖိစီးနေဖို့လဲမလိုအပ်ပါဘူး။

Then you can start the process again, if you are still interested after your meeting, with the contacts you have been given.

These contacts will probably be strangers to you, so open your email with “ Mary suggested I contact you…”

The new contact is much more likely to open the note as they will know and respect Mary.

After a few meetings you may well have four, eight, sixteen contacts to follow up-at this stage you may decide not to pursue some if they are in an industry or part of the country you aren’t interested in, you won’t worry if some don’t respond to your request, and you won’t be too stressed if some can’t meet for a few weeks-not only do you have your studies or current job to worry about, you probably have some other meetings too.

- လုပ်ငန်းနဲ့ပတ်သက်တဲ့အကြောင်း၊
- ဒီလုပ်ငန်းထဲကိုဘယ်လိုဝင်ရောက်ရမလဲဆိုတဲ့အကြောင်း၊
- ဘယ်လိုမျိုးဝန်ထမ်းတွေကို ရှာဖွေနေတာလဲ၊
- ဘယ်လိုအရည်အချင်းတွေလိုအပ်လဲ၊
- ဘယ်လိုအရာတွေက လူတွေကိုအောင်မြင်မှုရရှိအောင်လုပ်ဆောင်ပေးတာလဲ၊

အကယ်၍ သင်ဟာ သင်တွေ့ဆုံခဲ့တဲ့သူတွေဆီကနေမှတစ်ဆင့် အဆက်အသွယ်တွေရခဲ့မယ်ဆိုရင် မကြာခင်မှာပဲ သင့်မှာအသိမိတ်ဆွေတွေ၊ အဆက်အသွယ်တွေ များပြားလာမှာပါ။

တွေ့ဆုံမှုပြီးသွားတဲ့အခါမှာလဲ သင့်ကိုအချိန်ပေးခဲ့တဲ့အတွက် ကျေးဇူးတင်ကြောင်းကို ပြောဖြစ်အောင်ပြောပါ။

ကျေးဇူးတင်ကြောင်းပြောတဲ့အခါမှာလဲ စာရေးပြီးပြောလို့ရသလို Email ကနေမှတစ်ဆင့်လဲပြောနိုင်ပါတယ်။

Introduce yourself, thank them in advance for giving up their time and check how much time you have for the meeting.

Ask your questions about the industry, how to enter, what employers look for, any specific qualifications, what makes people successful, what is exciting about working there-these are genuine questions to which you really want the answers!

At the end of the meeting, make sure to ask for two more contacts that they can suggest. “This has been incredibly useful-can you recommend anyone else I could talk to?”

If you can get two names from everyone you meet, you’ll soon have more connections than you can manage.

After the meeting, be sure to send a thank you note-it doesn’t have to be handwritten”; an email will do.
