နယ်ပယ်အသီးသီးမှာ ​ခွန်အားအပြည့်နဲ့ ကြိုးစားနေကြတဲ့ လူငယ်လေးများကို သြဂုတ်လ (12)ရက်နေ့မှာ ကျရောက်တဲ့ International Youth Day မှာ ဂုဏ်ပြုလိုက်ရပါတယ်။
“Different Contexts, Common Aspirations” ဆိုတဲ့ ဒီနှစ်ရဲ့ ဆောင်ပုဒ်နဲ့အညီ လူငယ်တွေဟာ သက်ဆိုင်ရာအဝန်းအဝိုင်းမှာ အခက်အခဲပြဿနာတွေကို ကြိုးစားဖြေရှင်းရင်း အခွင့်အလမ်းသစ်တွေကို ရှာဖွေနေကြပါတယ်။
တိုးတက်လာတဲ့ခေတ်နဲ့အတူ သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်မှာလည်းအခက်အခဲပြဿနာတွေ များပြားလာပါတယ်။ ဒါတွေကို မျက်နှာလွှဲခဲပစ်မနေကြဘဲ နိုင်သမျှ ခွန်အားတွေနဲ့ သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ကို ကြိုးစားထိန်းသိမ်းနေကြတဲ့ လူငယ်လေးတွေလည်းရှိပါတယ်။
နောင်လာမယ့် မျိုးဆက်​သစ်တွေအတွက် ​ကျန်းမာတဲ့ သာယာလှပတဲ့ ကမ္ဘာကြီးကို လက်ဆင့်ကမ်းပေးနိုင်ဖို့ရာ အခုကတည်းက ကြိုးစားပြင်ဆင်နေကြပါတယ်။ ဒီလိုချစ်စဖွယ်လူငယ်လေးများကို ကျေးဇူးတင်ရင်း လူငယ်လေးများ သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ကို ပိုမိုချစ်တတ်လာစေဖို့ မျှော်လင့်ရင်း International Youth Day ကို ကြိုဆိုလိုက်ရပါတယ်။

On International Youth Day, celebrated on 12 August, we proudly recognise and honour young people who are striving with dedication and strength across various fields.
In line with this year's theme, “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations,” young people are actively seeking new opportunities while working to address the challenges and issues faced within their respective communities.
As the world continues to develop, environmental challenges are also becoming increasingly complex. Yet, many young people are choosing not to look the other way. Instead, they are using their energy, passion, and determination to protect and preserve the environment in every way they can.
They are taking action today to help ensure that future generations inherit a healthy and beautiful planet. As we celebrate these inspiring young people and express our gratitude for their efforts, we also hope that more youth will develop a deeper love and appreciation for the environment.

မှ ဖြစ်ပေါ်လာတဲ့ Up YEAH လူငယ်တွေဟာ သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ထိန်းသိမ်းရေးလုပ်ငန်းစဉ်များတွင် သင်ခန်းစာများ သင်ယူလေ့လာရုံသာမက လက်တွေ့လုပ်ငန်းများတွင်လည်း တက်ကြွစွာ သင်ယူလုပ်ဆောင်နေကြပါတယ်။ လူ‌ငယ်‌တွေရဲ့ သဘာဝနဲ့ထိတွေ့မှုဟာ နီးသထက်နီးစပ်လာခဲ့သလို သဘာဝနဲ့လူငယ့်နှလုံးသား ထပ်တူကျမှုဟာလည်း လေးနက်လာခဲ့ပါတယ်။

Action comes from connections & understanding. To appreciate and protect the environment, youths are making positive contributions towards the well-being of our planet. Learning goes both ways, and taking action is more powerful when it is closer to the roots.

UpYEAH is a youth-led eco-entrepreneurship team decent through Youth for Environmental Action and Hope(YEAH) by the EU SWITCH Asia programme Prevent Plastics+.

Communication department မှ အဖွဲ့သားများ လိုင်းမရသော နေရာတွင် အပင်သွား စိုက်နေ၍ EU Environment post အား admin မှ ပြန်share လိုက်ရပါသည်။

The entire communication team is in a remote area planting trees, so the page admin is resharing the EU Environment post.

Plastic Free July ပြီးပြီဆိုတော့ ပလတ်စတစ်လျှော့သုံးတာကို ရပ်လိုက်ရတော့မှာလား?

အဖြေက​တော့ "No!" ပါ။
ပလတ်စတစ်တွေက အချိန်ခဏတာလေးသာအသုံးတော်ခံရပြီးတဲ့နောက် စွန့်ပစ်ခံရတဲ့အခါ အခဲမကြေတင်းခံရင်း ကမ္ဘာမြေကြီးပေါ်မှာ နှစ်ပေါင်းများစွာ ဆက်ရှိနေမှာပါ။ ဒါတင်မက စနစ်တကျ မစွန့်ပစ်တဲ့အခါ ပလတ်စတစ်အမှုန်အမွှားလေးတွေ အဖြစ်ပြောင်းပြီး လူနဲ့ တိရစ္ဆာန်တွေကို သာမက ကမ္ဘာမြေကြီးပါ ဒုက္ခပေးသေးတာပါ။

Prevent Plastics+ နဲ့အတူ British Council Myanmar မှ The Green Team တို့ ပူးပေါင်းကျင်းပခဲ့တဲ့ Plastic Free July event လေးကတော့ ဇူလိုင်လ ၂၄ ရက်နေ့မှာ အောင်မြင်စွာ ပြီးဆုံးသွားခဲ့ပြီပဲ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ပွဲအဖွင့်လေးမှာတော့ Prevent Plastics+ ရဲ့ Plastic Waste Awareness Session လေးနဲ့ စတင်ခဲ့ပြီးတဲ့နောက်
ဟေရမုန် - Urban Organic Farm မှ ဦးဆောင်ကာ ပျော်ရွှင်ဖွယ် icebreaking game session နဲ့ အချင်းချင်း ရင်းနှီးမှုတွေရယူခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။

အဲ့ဒီနောက်မှာတော့ ရွှံ့၊မြေဆွေးတွေကို ထိတွေ့ကိုင်တွယ်ကြရင်း မျိုးစေ့လုံးလေးများပြုလုပ်တဲ့ Seedball Making Workshop နဲ့
UpYEAH ရဲ့ Upcycled Vinyl Card Holder Workshop ကနေ အမိုက်စား Card Holder လေးတွေကို ပွဲတက်ရောက်သူတွေ ကိုယ်တိုင်ဖန်တီးခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။
ဒါတွေအပြင် UpYEAH! , Upcycled Crochet Heroes, Ginga Recycle Arts & Crafts တို့ရဲ့ စိတ်ဝင်စားဖို့ကောင်းတဲ့ Eco Showcase Booth လေးများကိုလည်း ပြသခဲ့ပါသေးတယ်။
ဒီပွဲလေးကနေ သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်နဲ့ ပတ်သက်တဲ့ အသိပညာတွေအပြင် workshop တွေမှာ ကိုယ်တိုင် ပါဝင်လှုပ်ရှားကြရင်း စိတ်အပန်းပြေခဲ့ကြလိမ့်မယ်လို့ ထင်ပါတယ်။
Plastic Free July ကနေစပြီး နေ့ရက်တိုင်းမှာလည်း တတ်နိုင်သလောက် တစ်ခါသုံးပလတ်စတစ်တွေကို လျှော့သုံးဖို့ကြိုးစားကြရအောင်နော်။

Prevent Plastics+ and The Green Team, British Council Myanmar, successfully co-hosted the Plastic Free July event on 24 July.
The event began with a plastic waste awareness session led by Prevent Plastics+, followed by an engaging ice-breaker activity from Hayyamone Urban Organic Farm.
Participants created seedballs using mud and organic compost in the Seedball Making Workshop, and crafted hand-stitched card holders from used vinyl in the Upcycled Vinyl Card Holder Workshop by UpYEAH!
Eco showcase booths were presented by UpYEAH!, Upcycled Crochet Heroes, and Ginga Recycle.
We hope the event increased environmental awareness and provided an enjoyable experience for all participants.

သဘာဝအရင်းအမြစ်တွေပါ ခြွေတာရအောင်နော်။ နေရာတော်တော်များများမှ အပြင်ဆိုင်ရာကျော်ကို YEAH vol4 လူငယ်များကရှာဖွေပေးထားတာပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
