YEAH × EUMEETup Collaborative Event

စက်တင်ဘာ (၁၃) ရက်နေ့မှာ YEAH programme မှ graduates များနှင့် EUMEETup delegates များ၏ collaborative section ကို ဟေရမုန် - Urban Organic Farm မှာ ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ မနက်စာနှင့် နေ့လည်စာအတွက် သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်နှင့် လိုက်လျောညီထွေပြီး ပလတ်စတစ်ထုတ်ပိုးမှုမရှိတဲ့ အစားအသောက်များကို အရသာရှိရှိစားသုံးခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။

ဒီ session လေးကို online ရော၊ in person ပါ ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပြီး participant အားလုံးကလည်း တက်ကြွစွာပါဝင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ အချင်းချင်းမိတ်သဟာရဖွဲ့ခြင်းများနှင့်အတူ အုပ်စုလိုက်ဆွေး‌နွေးမှုများဖြင့် တစ်ဦးနှင့်တစ်ဦးအတွေးအမြင်များ ဖလှယ်နိုင်ခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။ ထို့နောက်မှာတော့ ဟေရမုန်မြို့ပြစိုက်ပျိုးခင်း၏ ပျိုးထောင်သူဖြစ်တဲ့ ဆရာ Luke မှ Sustainable Organic Farming အကြောင်းကို ဝေမျှပေးခဲ့ရာ participant များကလည်း မေးခွန်းများအပြန်အလှန်များမေးရင်း စိမ်းလန်းသောစိုက်ခင်း၊ ကျန်းမာရေးနှင့် ညီညွတ်သောစိုက်ပျိုးရေးနည်းလမ်းများကို ပိုမိုသိရှိနားလည်ခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။

Parallel Round Table Discussion အတွက် ခေါင်းစဉ်သုံးခုဖြစ်တဲ့ Community Mobilisation, Career Development, Organisational Management တို့ကို YEAH မှ လူငယ်သုံးဦးမှ ဦးဆောင်ဆွေးနွေးပြီး participant များမှ မိမိစိတ်ပါဝင်စားတဲ့ဆွေးနွေးရေးမှာ ပါဝင်ရင်းအတွေးများဖလှယ်၊ အဖြေရှာခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။

နောက်ဆုံးကဏ္ဍလေးအနေနှင့် Healing in the farm လို့ ခေါင်းစဉ်တပ်လို့ရတဲ့ စိုက်ခင်းထဲမှကုစားခြင်း ကဏ္ဍကို ပြင်ဆင်ခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။ မိမိတို့၏ စိတ်ဖိစီးမှု၊ သောကတွေကို အေးချမ်းသွားစေဖို့ ခဏတာငြိမ်သက်ရင်း စိတ်ကိုအားပြန်ဖြည့်ပေးတဲ့အစီအစဉ်လေးပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ထိုခဏတာအတွင်းမှာ ပူပန်စရာအတွေးတို့ကိုရှင်းလင်းရင်း မိမိ၏ လုံခြုံရာနေရာ လို့ခေါ်တဲ့ safe place ကို ပြန်လည်ရှာဖွေခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။

အောက်တိုဘာလ (၁၄) ရက်နေ့မှာတော့ YEAH + MEETup ပူးတွဲသင်ကြားရေး ထပ်မံစတင်ခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။ Thant Myanmar မှ Program Director Mr. Friedor Jeske မှ Global Plastics Treaty အကြောင်းကို ရှင်းပြဆွေးနွေးပေးခဲ့ပါတယ်။

လူငယ်များအနေနဲ့ အသစ်သစ်သောအရာများကိုလေ့လာပြီး ပိုမိုကောင်းမွန်တဲ့ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်တစ်ခုဖော်ဆောင်ရေးတို့အတွက် အတွေးအမြင်အသစ်များ ရရှိစေလိမ့်မယ်လို့ မျှော်လင့်မိပါတယ်။

On September 13, a collaborative session between YEAH programme graduates and EUMEETup delegates was held at Heramon - Urban Organic Farm. For breakfast and lunch, participants enjoyed delicious, environmentally friendly meals that were free from plastic packaging.
The session was conducted both online and in person, with active participation from everyone involved. Through group discussions and mutual introductions, participants exchanged ideas and perspectives.
Following that, Mr Luke of Heramon Urban Farm, shared insights on Sustainable Organic Farming. Participants engaged in a lively Q&A, deepening their understanding of green farming practices and health-conscious cultivation methods.
During the Parallel Round Table Discussions, three key topics were explored:
-Community Mobilisation
-Career Development
-Organisational Management
Three youth representatives from YEAH led these discussions, and participants joined the ones they were most interested in, exchanging ideas and seeking solutions together.
The final segment, titled Healing in the Farm, was designed as a reflective and restorative experience. It offered a moment of calm to release stress and sorrow, helping participants reconnect with their personal “safe place” and recharge emotionally.
On October 14, the YEAH + MEETup collaborative learning continued. Mr Friedor Jeske, Program Director from Thant Myanmar, gave a talk on the Global Plastics Treaty, sparking thoughtful discussion.
We hope that young people have gained new perspectives and inspiration to contribute to building a better environment.

YEAH ကတော့ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံရှိ လူငယ်များအား သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်နဲ့ ရေရှည်တည်တံ့မှုဆိုင်ရာ အသိပညာပေးနိုင်ရန် နဲ့ လက်တွေ့ အကောင်အထည်ဖော်နိုင်ရန်အတွက် Thant Myanmar နဲ့ Prevent Plastics+ တို့ရဲ့ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက် ဖော်ဆောင်တာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ယခု ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့တဲ့ Orientation Event မှာတော့
ဟေရမုန် - Urban Organic Farm မှ ဆရာ Luke မှ Mud House - ရွှံ့အိမ်လုပ်နည်းကို သေချာပြသသင်ကြားပေးခဲ့ပြီး YEAH 4 In-person delegates များမှလည်း ထိုActivityကို ပျော်ရွှင်စွာတက်ညီလက်ညီ ကြိုးကြိုးစားစား လုပ်ခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။ Onlineမှ YEAH delegatesများအနေနဲ့လည်း ကိုယ်ပိုင်တီထွင်ဖန်တီးမှုဖြင့် လက်မှု နှင့် Upcycling Craft ပစ္စည်းလေးများကို ဖန်တီးခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။
ဒါအပြင် YEAH ရဲ့ ပထမဆုံး ခေါင်းစဉ်ဖြစ်တဲ့ “How to Become an Environmentalist” ကို Thant Myanmar ရဲ့ Program Director Mr. Friedor Jeske ကနေ ပြောပြပေးခဲ့ပြီး သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ဆိုင်ရာပြောင်းလဲမှုများကို ဖော်ဆောင်ရာမှာ အရေးပါတဲ့ ကိုယ်တွေ့ ကိစ္စရပ်များနဲ့ အတွေ့အကြုံများစွာကို မျှဝေပေးခဲ့ပါတယ်။

Prevent Plastics+ ရဲ့ Team Leader ဖြစ်တဲ့ Mr. Daniel Mista မှလည်း ပရိုဂရမ်အကြောင်းနဲ့ ပါဝင်တဲ့ ကဏ္ဍများကို ရှင်းပြပေးခဲ့ပါတယ်။
ဒါ့အပြင် YEAH Delegates အချင်းချင်း ပိုမိုရင်းနှီးစေဖို့ မိတ်ဆက်နဲ့ ဂိမ်းအစီအစဉ်များ ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပါသေးတယ်။

YEAH 4 ရဲ့ Delegates လူငယ်များကလည်း သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်အရေး တက်တက်ကြွကြွ ဆောင်ရွက်သွားဖို့ စိတ်လှုပ်ရှားနေကြပါပြီ။

Today, on October 13th, the first new step of the fourth iteration of the Youth for Environmental Action and Hope (YEAH) Programme the Orientation Event of Volume 4 was successfully held at Heramone - Urban Organic Farm.
YEAH is a collaboration between Thant Myanmar and Prevent Plastics+, designed to provide Myanmar's youth with environmental and sustainability knowledge and practical skills.
YEAH's mission is to equip the youth with the skills and knowledge to actively contribute to sustainable development. Our comprehensive curriculum covers a wide range of environmental topics, fostering a deep passion for conservation and positive change.
By nurturing environmentally conscious and empowered youth, YEAH aims to create a brighter future for Myanmar and the planet. We instill purpose and provide practical tools for young people to make a meaningful impact on environmental issues.
We're excited that the programme will commence in a hybrid style, enabling 25 youths from across Myanmar to participate.

Here's a glimpse of our orientation activities:
Instructor Luke from Heramone - Urban Organic Farm thoroughly demonstrated how to build a Mud House, and the YEAH 4 in-person delegates also worked together happily and diligently on this activity.
Online YEAH delegates also creatively made handicrafts and upcycling craft items through their own innovations.
Welcome Remark by Mr. Daniel Mista, Team Leader at Prevent Plastics+, inspiring youth to become change-makers for the environment through this programme.

သဘာဝဆီမှ အသံတွေကို အချိန်ပေးပြီး ဂရုတစိုက် နားထောင်ဖူးပါသလား?

That’s why this year’s Green Festival 2025, themed “Whisper of Nature,” invites you to reconnect with the natural world to rediscover and listen to what we’ve forgotten, and to find harmony once again with the environment around us.

This festival is uniquely designed as a creative and interactive space where participants can experience the whispers of nature through art, music, and youth participation. “Whisper of Nature” also symbolises the wisdom and reminders that the Earth and the environment continue to share with us.

The Green Festival, held annually, is an environmental celebration co-organised by Kokkoya Organics and Prevent Plastics+. For the past two years, it has been hosted under different environmental themes, and this year, several youth members from YEAH (Youth for Environmental Action and Hope) have also joined the organising team.

🌿 What’s in plan for this year’s festival?

The Green Festival 2025 will feature a range of inspiring workshops, innovative competitions, and creative programs designed to spark imagination and environmental awareness. Participants will have the chance to learn, create, and express their own ideas about nature and sustainability alongside other youth.

YEAH Programကို ထပ်မံမိတ်ဆက်ရမယ်ဆိုရင်တော့ EU SWITCH-Asia Programme Grant Programmeတစ်ခုဖြစ်သော Prevent Plastics+ နှင့် ပါတနာဖြစ်သော Thant Myanmar တိုမှ ပူးပေါင်းကာ သင်ကြား မွေးထုတ်ပေးထားသော လူငယ်Programmeပဲ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ဒီကနေ့မှာတော့ "သဘာဝလော်စပီကာ"ရဲ့ ပထမဆုံးပွဲဦးထွက် အပိုင်းဖြစ်တဲ့ Pilot Episode (Introduction) ကို စတင်ထုတ်လွှင့်လိုက်ရပါတယ်။ ဒီအပိုင်းမှာ YEAH အကြောင်းအား အထွေထွေ မိတ်ဆက်ခြင်းများပါဝင်ပြီး ဒီ Programme က ကိုယ်ပိုင်အတွေ့အကြုံတွေကို Speaker 4ယောက်ဆီက စုံလင်စွာနားထောင်ရင်း အလွဲများကို ရယ်မောရမှာ ဖြစ်တာကြောင့် မလွတ်တမ်း နားထောင်ဖို့ ဖိတ်ခေါ်လိုက်ရပါတယ်နော်။

ဒါ့အပြင် မကြာခင် နောက်ထပ် Episode တွေမှာလည်း မတူညီသောလူငယ်တွေနဲ့ ပိုမိုစိတ်ဝင်စားဖို့ကောင်းတဲ့ သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ဆိုင်ရာ အကြောင်းအရာတွေ၊ သစ်လွင်ဆန်းသစ်တဲ့ အမြင်အမျိုးမျိုးကို ကြားသိနားဆင်နိုင်မှာဖြစ်တာကြောင့် ဆက်လက်စောင့်မျှော်ပေးကြပါဦး။

In our daily lives, we often tune into various podcasts, but rarely do we hear ones that speak directly from nature’s perspective. That’s why YEAH – Youth for Environmental Action and Hope is launching its first-ever podcast series: “Nature Loudspeaker”.
This youth-led series gives voice to the sounds of nature through the voices of young changemakers. It’s a space where we share our thoughts, love, and personal actions for the environment, offering fresh, relevant, and accessible knowledge about what’s genuinely happening in our natural world.
The EU SWITCH Grant Programme established the YEAH programme, Prevent Plastics+, and its partner Thant Myanmar.
🎙️ The Pilot Episode (Introduction) is now live! It introduces the YEAH Programme and features four youth speakers sharing their real experiences, reflections, and even some fun moments you won’t want to miss.
