27.04.2026 - Memories recap
One-Year Memorial Thanksgiving of Rev. Dr. Jenson Rajan Andrews
Today, we gathered with grateful yet heavy hearts to remember and give thanks for the life of Rev. Dr. Jenson Rajan Andrews, beloved President of the ELCM-LBC, on the first anniversary of his passing.
Though his absence is deeply felt, today was not only a moment of sorrow, but also a sacred time of thanksgiving—for a life that was lived with purpose, humility, and love for God and His people. Rev. Dr. Jenson Rajan Andrews was a shepherd, a guide, and a father to many. His words, his care, and his quiet strength have left a lasting imprint on all who knew him.
We are deeply thankful to all the families of LBC Church, MICF, YCC, the Bible Society of Myanmar, the Lower-Myanmar Methodist Church and our dear brothers and sisters from various ecumenical churches. Your presence, your prayers, and the memories you shared have brought comfort, unity, and healing. In coming together, we were reminded that love does not end, and a life poured out in service continues to speak.
As we remember him, we hold on to the hope we have in Christ—that death is not the end, but the beginning of eternal rest in the presence of the Lord. Until that day when we meet again, we carry forward his example of faith, love, and service.
“Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord… they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.” (Revelation 14:13)
Forever remembered. Forever grateful.
