ကောင်းမွန်စွာရှင်သန်ကြီးထွားလာတဲ့ ကလေးငယ်တိုင်းရဲ့ နောက်ကွယ်မှာ မေတ္တာတရား၊ ကြံ့ခိုင်မှုနဲ့ အမြော်အမြင်တွေနဲ့ အနာဂတ်ကို ပုံဖော်ပေးနေတဲ့ မိခင်တစ်ဦး အမြဲရှိနေပါတယ်။

မိခင်တွေဟာ ပြုစုစောင့်ရှောက်သူတွေသာမက ဆရာမတွေ၊ ကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက်သူတွေနဲ့ လမ်းပြပေးသူတွေလည်း ဖြစ်ကြပါတယ်။ သူတို့ရဲ့ နွေးထွေးတဲ့ မေတ္တာနဲ့ မှန်ကန်တဲ့ ရွေးချယ်မှုတွေကတစ်ဆင့် ကလေးငယ်တွေကို ယုံကြည်မှု၊ ကြင်နာမှုနဲ့ မျှော်လင့်ချက်တွေနဲ့အတူ ကြီးပြင်းလာအောင် ပံ့ပိုးပေးနေကြတာပါ။

ENOUGH Campaign Workshop with Faith Leaders in Mandalay

On 28 April 2026, World Vision Myanmar, together with the Anglican Diocese of Mandalay, organized the ENOUGH Campaign Educational Workshop on Child Nutrition, Food Security, and Clean Water at Christ Church Cathedral, Mandalay, bringing together 87 faith leaders from various denominations.

This meaningful gathering is part of World Vision’s ENOUGH Campaign, following similar workshops conducted with faith leaders in Yangon, Pathein, and Mawlamyine.

During the half-day session, World Vision shared essential information on:
• Child and maternal nutrition
• Food security
• Environmental sanitation and access to clean water

In the second half of the program, church leaders participated in small group discussions, exploring how faith leaders can take a more active role in improving food security, nutrition, and overall living conditions not only within their churches but throughout their communities.

By empowering faith leaders, we strengthen communities to ensure that every child has enough nutritious food, safe water, and a healthier future.

"ကျွန်တော်ကတော့ ကန်ကြီးထောင့်မြို့နယ်မှာ လယ်ယာမြေ ဧက ၂၀ ကျော်ကို စိုက်ပျိုးနေတဲ့ တောင်သူတစ်ဦးပါ။ ဒီနှစ်မှာတော့ World Vision ကန်ကြီးထောင့်ရုံးက ဦးဆောင်ဖွဲ့စည်းတဲ့ စိုက်ပျိုးထုတ်လုပ်သူအဖွဲ့မှာ ပါဝင်ခွင့်ရခဲ့ပြီး World Vision က ပံ့ပိုးပေးတဲ့ ဆိုလာရေတင်စနစ်ကို လက်တွေ့အသုံးပြုခွင့် ရခဲ့ပါတယ်။

အရင်ကတော့ ဒီဇယ်ဖိုးနဲ့ စက်ပြင်စရိတ်တွေကြီးလို့ စပါးခင်းတွေကို ရေဝအောင် မပေးနိုင်ခဲ့ပါဘူး။ အခု ဆိုလာစနစ်ကို သုံးတဲ့အခါမှာတော့ ကုန်ကျစရိတ်တွေ တော်တော်လေး သက်သာသွားပါပြီ။ နေရောင်ရှိရုံနဲ့ ရေကို စိတ်ကြိုက်တင်နိုင်လို့ စပါးပင်တွေ ရေဝဝလင်လင်ရပြီး အထွက်နှုန်းလည်း သိသိသာသာ ပိုကောင်းလာတော့မှာပါ။

In the middle of this struggle, an earthquake severely damaged Zin’s home. Since the house was no longer safe, the family moved into a temporary shelter for eight months. While they received support from charity organizations, Zin never stopped working to cover her family’s other needs. Eventually, they repaired their home and were able to move back.

When the earthquake struck Myanmar, it destroyed more than homes.

Water systems collapsed. Toilets were damaged. Children were left without safe water and sanitation.
World Vision responded immediately by providing safe water, emergency toilets, hygiene kits, and water treatment support to affected communities.

One year on, recovery continues.

With Reverse Osmosis (RO) water purification system installed in schools and monasteries, and safe toilets rebuilt, children can drink clean water, practice hygiene, and return to learning with dignity.
Clean water is not just a basic need, it is the foundation of health, safety, and hope.

This World Water Day, we stand with communities as they rebuild stronger, healthier futures.
