SFC 2026 Call for Entry!
Short Film Camp is an immersive workshop for the next generation of filmmakers from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand. Over ten days in Bangkok, participants work closely with mentors to sharpen their scripts and build new perspectives on directing and producing — culminating in a final pitch of their short film projects.
Four winners of the final pitch will receive $7,500 in funding, a production package at Baan Film, and a post-production package at White Light Post to bring their short films to life. Two runners-up will receive complimentary invitations to Platform Busan at Busan International Film Festival 2027.

📍Venue: TCDC Bangkok, Thailand
Submission Opens: Tuesday, August 25, 2026
Submission Deadline: Friday, September 25, 2026, at 23:59 (GMT+7)

Eligibility
1. Applicants must be a team of director and producer, who are citizens of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, or Thailand, or belong to a stateless community residing in these countries.
2. Both team members must be aged 35 or under (born in 1991 or after).
3. Applicants must be able to attend the full program in person. The program will be conducted in English.
4. The director must have made at least one short film, but not yet directed a feature film or series before. The producer must not have produced a feature film or series before.
5. Producers may apply with multiple projects, while directors may only apply with one project.
6. If you are an SFC alumnus, you can only apply for a different position. A previous director can only apply as a producer, and a previous producer can only apply as a director.
7. We do not accept submissions that are student thesis projects.
8. We do not accept documentary and animation projects.
9. We do not accept applications for films already in production.
The program covers round-trip travel and hotel accommodation for all participants from their Southeast Asian country to Bangkok. Submission is free of charge. Download the regulations and apply here: www.purin.org/short-film-camp/

3-ACT Script Studio (အင်းလေး) သည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံရှိ မျိုးဆက်သစ် ဇာတ်ညွှန်းရေးဆရာများနှင့် ရုပ်ရှင်ဖန်တီးသူများကို ပံ့ပိုးကူညီပေးမည့် ဇာတ်လမ်းရှည်ရုပ်ရှင် အဆင့်မြှင့်တင်ရေး အစီအစဉ်သစ် (Residency) တစ်ခု ဖြစ်သည်။

အင်းလေး Sobhana Project Residence တွင် စက်တင်ဘာ ၇ ရက်နေ့မှာ ၁၆ ရက်နေ့အထိ ပြုလုပ်မည့် ဇာတ်လမ်းဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်ရေး၊ ဇာတ်ညွှန်းရေးသားပြင်ဆင်ရေး၊ အကြံပေးဆွေးနွေးရေးနှင့် ပရောဂျက်တင်ပြခြင်းဆိုင်ရာ သင်တန်း (Pitch Training) များတွင် ပါဝင်ခွင့်ရရှိရန် ပရောဂျက် ၆ ခုကို ရွေးချယ်သွားမည် ဖြစ်သည်။

အင်းလေး Sobhana Project Residence တွင် စက်တင်ဘာ ၇ ရက်နေ့မှာ ၁၆ ရက်နေ့အထိ ပြုလုပ်မည့် ဇာတ်လမ်းဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်ရေး၊ ဇာတ်ညွှန်းရေးသားပြင်ဆင်ရေး၊ အကြံပေးဆွေးနွေးရေးနှင့် ပရောဂျက်တင်ပြခြင်းဆိုင်ရာ သင်တန်း (Pitch Training) များတွင် ပါဝင်ခွင့်ရရှိရန် ပရောဂျက် ၆ ခုကို ရွေးချယ်သွားမည် ဖြစ်သည်။

ထိုသို့ ရက်တိုနေထိုင် သင်ယူပြီးနောက် ပါဝင်သူများသည် မိမိတို့၏ ပရောဂျက်များကို ခိုင်မာစေ့စပ်သည့် ဇာတ်ညွှန်းအပြည့်အစုံ ဖြစ်လာသည်အထိ ဆက်လက်ရေးသားရမည်ဖြစ်ပြီး၊ ထို့နောက် ရန်ကုန်မြို့တွင် ကျင်းပမည့် “Script Studio Pitch Forum 2026” ၌ ရုပ်ရှင်ထုတ်လုပ်သူများထံ တင်ပြခွင့် ရရှိမည်ဖြစ်သည်။ အကဲဖြတ်ဒိုင်များမှ အကောင်းဆုံး ပရောဂျက်တစ်ခုကို ရွေးချယ်ချီးမြှင့်မည်ဖြစ်ပြီး ထိုပရောဂျက်သည် ရုပ်ရှင်ရိုက်ကူးရေးအကြိုလုပ်ငန်းစဉ် (Pre-production) များ ပြင်ဆင်နိုင်ရန်အတွက် ဇာတ်ညွှန်းဆိုင်ရာ အနီးကပ်အကြံပေးပံ့ပိုးမှု (Mentorship) ကို ရရှိမည်ဖြစ်သည်။

Are you developing an original feature film project?

📢 OPEN CALL: 3-ACT SCRIPT STUDIO (INLE)
3-ACT Script Studio (Inle) is a new feature film development residency supporting emerging Myanmar screenwriters and filmmakers.

Six projects will be selected to participate in a10-day residency (from September 7th to September 16th) at Sobhana Project in Inle focused on story development, screenplay preparation, mentorship, and pitch training.

Following the residency, participants will continue developing their projects into a refined full script before presenting them at the Script Studio Pitch Forum 2026 to industry producers in Yangon. One project will be chosen as the winner by judges and will receive the script mentorship for the project to prepare for pre-production.

Selected participants will receive:
• Residency in Inle for writing your script
• Script development workshops
• Individual mentorship
• Pitch preparation
