Differently Abled လက်မှုအနုပညာ ပြပွဲဖြစ်မြှောက်အောင် ကြိုးစားခဲ့ကြတာ တစ်နှစ်ပြည့်ပြီပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ပြပွဲအတွက်စတင်ပြင်ဆင်ချိန် ၂၀၂၄ စက်တင်ဘာလကနေစလို့ ပြပွဲကျင်းပပြီးတဲ့ ၂၀၂၅ ဇန်နဝါရီလအထိ ၅လတိုင်တိုင် နောက်ကွယ်ကနေကြိုးစားပေးခဲ့ကြပါသော အဖွဲ့ဝင်များနှင့် ပြပွဲမှာပါဝင်ပေးခဲ့ကြသော လက်မှု၊အနုပညာရှင်များရဲ့ “ပြပွဲဖြစ်တည်လာပုံ”၊ “ပြပွဲမှာပါဝင် ဖြစ်ပုံ”တွေအကြောင်း ပြောပြထားတဲ့ စကားသံများကို အမှတ်တရအနေဖြင့် မျှဝေလိုက်ရပါတယ်ရှင်။

Voices Behind the Differently Abled Arts & Crafts Exhibition 🎨

It’s now been one year since we first came together with a shared goal to make the “Differently Abled Arts & Crafts Exhibition” a reality.

From the early planning stages in September 2024 to the final showcase in January 2025, it was a journey of five months filled with dedication, collaboration, and care.

Behind the scenes, our team members worked tirelessly, while talented artists and craftspeople with different abilities brought their creativity and spirit to the forefront.

As a way to honor that shared journey, we’re proud to share the voices of those who made it happen stories of how the exhibition came to life, what it meant to be part of it, and the experiences that made it unforgettable.

Differently Abled အနုပညာပြပွဲရဲ့ လေလံပွဲမှ အမှတ်တရပုံရိပ်များ ✨

မသန်စွမ်းအနုပညာရှင်တွေအတွက် ရည်ရွယ်ကျင်းပခဲ့တဲ့ Differently Abled အနုပညာပြပွဲရဲ့ ဒုတိယအပတ် ဇန်နဝါရီလ ၁၂ ရက်နေ့ ညနေပိုင်းမှာ လေလံပွဲကိုလည်း စျေးရောင်းပွဲတော်နဲ့အတူ Turquoise Mountain Myanmar မှာကျင်းပပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။👩‍⚖️

မသန်စွမ်းလက်မှုအနုပညာရှင်တွေအတွက် ရည်ရွယ်ပြီး “နှလုံးသားဖြင့် ပေးချေပါ” ဆိုတဲ့ လေလံတင်ပွဲကို ကျင်းပပေးခဲ့ပြီး U.S Embassy Rangoonရဲ့ Public Affairs Officer ဖြစ်သူ Ms. Heidi Smith မှလည်း Differently Abled project အတွက် ဝမ်းသာဂုဏ်ယူမိကြောင်းနှင့် လေလံပွဲအတွက် အဖွင့်အမှာစကားပြောကြားပေးခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ❤️

ဒါ့အပြင် Differently Abled ရဲ့ တာဝန်ရှိသူတစ်ဦးဖြစ်သူ မဧမြမြဖူးကလည်း ဒီပြပွဲမှာ ပါဝင်ခဲ့ကြတဲ့ မြန်မာပြည် အနှံ့အပြားက မသန်စွမ်းလက်မှုအနုပညာရှင်တွေကို ကျေးဇူးတင်ရှိကြောင်းနှင့် ပြပွဲပြုလုပ်ရတဲ့ ရည်ရွယ်ချက်၊ မိတ်ဖက်အဖွဲ့အစည်းတွေနှင့် ပြပွဲဖြစ်မြောက်အောင်တစ်ဖက်တစ်လမ်းမှ ကူညီခဲ့ကြတဲ့ အဖွဲ့ဝင်တွေကို ကျေးဇူးတင်စကားပြောကြားခဲ့ပါတယ်။ အဲ့ဒီနောက်မှာတော့ လေလံပွဲနှင့် မသန်စွမ်းလက်မှုအနုပညာရှင်တွေနှင့် သူတို့ရဲ့ မိတ်ဆွေ သူငယ်ချင်းများအတွက် Myanmar Deaf Chefsမှအစားအသောက်များနှင့် ညနေစာတည်ခင်းဧည့်ခံခဲ့ပါတယ်။🍽️

လေလံပွဲမှာ ရောင်းချရငွေအားလုံးကိုလည်း ၁၀၀% လက်မှုအနုပညာရှင်တွေဆီ ပေးအပ်ခဲ့ပြီး လေလံပွဲကနေတစ်ဆင့် မသန်စွမ်းလက်မှု အနုပညာရှင်များရဲ့ အနုပညာလက်ရာ ၅၀ တန်ဖိုးငွေကျပ် စုစုပေါင်း ၁၅သိန်းဖိုးကို မသန်စွမ်း လက်မှုအနုပညာရှင်များအတွက် ကူညီရောင်းချပေးနိုင်ခဲ့တဲ့အတွက် Differently Abled Teamမှ အထူးပဲ ဝမ်းသာဂုဏ်ယူမိကြောင်း ပြောကြားလိုက်ရပါတယ်။ 🥰

Memorable Moments from Auction Session of Differently Abled Art Exhibition ✨

As part of the Differently Abled Art Exhibition, which was organized to support differently-abled artists and artisans, the Charity Auction was held during the second week of the event January 12 at Turquoise Mountain.👩‍⚖️

An Auction titled “Buy with Heart” was held to support differently-abled artisans. Ms. Heidi Smith, Public Affairs Officer at the American Embassy Yangon, delivered the opening remarks, expressing her appreciation for the Differently Abled project and extending her congratulations on the success of the project. ❤️

Furthermore, Ms. Aye Mya Mya Phoo, the project leader of Differently Abled, expressed her gratitude to the talented differently-abled artisans from across Myanmar who participated in the exhibition. She also acknowledged the event’s purpose, the invaluable contributions of partner organizations, and the dedicated efforts of the team members who made the exhibition possible.📝

Following the auction, an evening reception featuring cuisine by Myanmar Deaf Chef was held in honor of the differently-abled artisans and their friends.🍽️

All proceeds from the auction were 100% given to the artists. Through this event, a total of 1,500,000 MMK was raised from 50 pieces of artworks, proudly sold to support the livelihoods and talents of differently-abled artists and the total amount raised from the auction showcased the remarkable appreciation for their handwork. The team was especially proud and honored to have successfully facilitated this initiative. 🥰

Memorable Moments from Week 2 of the Differently Abled Art Exhibition✨

The second week of the Differently Abled Art Exhibition, dedicated to artists with disabilities,
was successfully held for three consecutive days on January 9th, 10th, and 11th at Studio
Canvas.

A total of 64 artworks, 7 poems & crafts were showcased, featuring the creative expressions of 15 differently-abled artists from Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway & Taunggyi. Additionally, a special guest artist, Ko Tint, joined the exhibition, bringing the total number of participating artists to 15. Together, they presented heartfelt and inspiring
creations, reflecting their passion and artistic vision.

Memorable Moments from the Bazzar Session of Differently Abled Art Exhibition ✨

As part of the Differently Abled Art Exhibition, a special Bazaar was held on January 12 at Turquoise Mountain to promote the creative and economic empowerment of differently-abled artists and artisans.

🕙 The event took place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, featuring 12 vendors who showcased and sold a variety of handmade products.

🤝 We were also pleased to welcome representatives from SIS Burma and My Jobs Myanmar, who shared valuable employment resources and opportunities with differently-abled youths.

📚 Two inclusive workshops a Braille Text Workshop and a Sign Language Workshop were conducted during the bazaar, offering participants a chance to engage, learn, and connect.

🛍️Sales ranged from MMK 250,000 to over MMK 500,000 reflecting both the quality of the products and the community’s support for our art & craft bazaar.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone including visitors, partner organizations, artists and artisans who made the Differently Abled Bazaar a meaningful and memorable experience.🙏

👩‍🎨On January 3rd, Ms. Lynn Lynn Htoo (Painting) captivated the audience with her artistic skills at Spaces-31.

🧑‍🎨On January 4th, Kaung Myat San (Painting) and Kaung Set performed live at Spaces-31.

👨‍🎨On January 9th and 10th, Ko Tint (Painting) demonstrated his artistic techniques at Studio Canvas.

These talented artists participated in the exhibition, offering the audience a firsthand experience of how they create their invaluable works of art.

Snapshots from the Workshops Held at the Differently Abled Art Exhibition ✨

A total of 12 free workshops were conducted during the Differently Abled art exhibition, with over 480 participants attending. These workshops welcomed differently abled artisans, their parents, relatives, and friends, as well as young people who wanted to support and encourage these talented artists.

Differently Abled ပြပွဲမှာ “အတားအဆီးများကို ကျော်ဖြတ်ခြင်း - မတူကွဲပြားစွာ စွမ်းဆောင်နိုင်သူတွေအတွက် အလုပ်အကိုင် အခွင့်အလမ်းများကို မြှင့်တင်ပေးခြင်း” ဆိုတဲ့ ခေါင်းစဉ်နဲ့ စကားဝိုင်းတစ်ခုကိုလည်း ထည့်သွင်းကျင်းပခဲ့ပြီး လာရောက်နားထောင်သူ အယောက် ၈၀ ကျော်ရှိခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ဒီဆွေးနွေးပွဲလေးမှာ မသန်စွမ်းသူတွေအတွက် တန်းတူညီမျှမှုတွေနဲ့ ပတ်သက်ပြီး ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြတာဖြစ်ပြီး မသန်စွမ်းလက်မှုအနုပညာရှင်တွေအပြင် အလုပ်အကိုင်အခွင့်အလမ်းရရှိဖို့ ကြိုးစားနေကြတဲ့ မသန်စွမ်းလူငယ်တွေကလည်း စကားဝိုင်းကို လာရောက်နားဆင်ခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။ ဒါ့အပြင် အမေးအဖြေ အပိုင်းမှာလည်း လွတ်လပ်စွာ တက်တက်ကြွကြွနဲ့ ဆွေးနွေးဖြေဆိုပေးခဲ့ကြပါသေးတယ်။

ဆွေးနွေးပွဲအပြီးမှာတော့ စကားဝိုင်းမှာ ပါဝင်ပေးခဲ့တဲ့ ဆရာ/ဆရာမတွေကို Differently Abled ပြပွဲအဖွဲ့ဝင်တွေက ပန်းချီကားတွေကို အမှတ်တရလက်ဆောင်အနေနဲ့ ပေးအပ်ခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။ ဒီစကားဝိုင်းလေးဖြစ်မြောက်အောင်လို့ ပါဝင်အားဖြည့်ပေးခဲ့ကြတဲ့ မဝင်းဆွေ (MWDN) Myanmar Women With Disabilities Network ၊ ကိုအောင်သူ (ရွှေမင်းသားဖောင်ဒေးရှင်း) Shwe Minn Tha Foundation(Myanmar) ၊ ဆရာမ မာလာဖြူ (Yes We Can) တို့လည်း လုပ်နိုင်တယ် - Yes, We Can တို့နဲ့အတူ ဆရာမ လင်းလင်းထူး (Alumna of YSEALI PFP program) တို့ကိုလည်း အထူးပဲကျေးဇူးတင်ရှိကြောင်း ပြောကြားလိုက်ရပါတယ်။ 🤍

Memorable Moments from the Panel Discussion at the Differently Abled Art Exhibition🥰

As part of the Differently Abled exhibition, we also hosted a panel discussion under the theme “Breaking Barriers: Promoting Inclusion for Differently Abled Individuals and Employment Challenges and Opportunities.” More than 80 attendees participated in this insightful session, where discussions revolved around equality and inclusion for people with disabilities. In addition to differently-abled artists, young individuals striving for career opportunities despite their disabilities also attended and actively engaged in the session.

During the Q&A segment, participants enthusiastically voiced their thoughts and engaged in open discussions.

At the end of the panel, the Differently Abled exhibition team presented commemorative paintings as appreciation gifts to the panelists. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Ma Win Swe (MWDN), Mr. Aung Thu (Shwe Min Thar Foundation), Ms. Marlar Phyu (Yes We Can), and Ms. Lynn Lynn Htoo (Alumna of the YSEALI PFP Program) for their valuable contributions in making this discussion a success. 🤍

Differently Abled အနုပညာပြပွဲရဲ့ ပထမအပတ်မှ အမှတ်တရပုံရိပ်များ 💖

မသန်စွမ်းအနုပညာရှင်တွေရဲ့ အနုပညာလက်ရာတွေကို ဖော်ထုတ်ပြသခဲ့တဲ့ Differently Abled ပြပွဲရဲ့ ပထမအပတ်အနေနဲ့ Spaces-31 ဇန်နဝါရီလ ၃ ရက်နေ့ကနေ ၅ ရက်နေ့အထိ ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်ခဲ့တာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ဒီ ၃ ရက်တာမှာတော့ အနုပညာလက်ရာပေါင်း (၆၄) ခုကို ပြသခဲ့ပြီး ရန်ကုန်က အနုပညာရှင် (၁၁) ယောက်အပြင် တို့လည်း လုပ်နိုင်တယ် - Yes, We Can နဲ့ ခရမ်းရောင်ကြာပန်း- Purple Lotus တို့မှ လက်မှုပညာရှင်တွေကလည်း အဖွဲ့လိုက် သူတို့ရဲ့အနုပညာလက်ရာတွေကို အသီးသီးပြသခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။

Memorable Moments from the First Week of the Differently Abled Art Exhibition 💖

The first week of the Differently Abled art exhibition, which showcased the artistic talents of differently abled artists, was held at Spaces 31 from January 3 to January 5.

During these three days, a total of 64 artworks were exhibited, featuring contributions from 11 artists from Yangon, as well as group exhibits from craftsmen of Yes We Can and Purple Lotus.
