Dear Friends, Donors and Volunteers,
This is to inform you that I have created a new page named Bamboo Delight Library and Summer School . In fact, my page was hacked last year and since then, I have lost all direct access to my pages. Luckily, one of my friends, who is an editor on these pages, was able to help me continue posting news on my page. However, this has been my great, great loss because I lost the chance to connect with and contact my friends and donors directly. For this, I have been unhappy for one year. I have contacted Facebook several times but in vain.
As some of you know, due to the pandemic and the political crisis, I have not been able to run my cooking class for two years now. Since tourists do not come any more, my business has therefore stopped. But there is still a chance for me to do more charity activities and I have been concentrating on those lately. And now, thanks to the support of my friends, my family and I have been doing well and so have the children and families in my community. However, due to time difference and other commitments, it has been difficult for my friend lately to continue posting news on my page, hence my decision to create a new one.
I am not very good at using social media but what I am good at is uploading posts on my FB page and talk to you via Messenger. I have missed you all so much, and have missed sharing with you what I have been doing.
With this new page, I can now get in touch with you again more easily and share more regularly what I am doing. I will keep on posting news, pictures and videos of what I am doing for the children and my community on this page. Bamboo Delight Library and Summer School, led by Sue, is a project by Hand to Hand Charity Myanmar. Library has opened since 2013 and so has Summer School. Now it has become a new and better project “Summer Youth Camp” led every summer for 3 months.
