Tounge La' Yat Community College We support socially engaged Myanmar citizens from diverse backgrounds to develop the skills and abilities to make a positive change in their communities.

EGG is a nonprofit community-based education program that was formed in 2011 by committed Karen scholarship alumni, aspiring local youths, visionary religious leaders, and socially engaged persons to create educational opportunity for marginalizing youth in Karen State with the following mission, vision and goals.

♻️ Turning waste into wonder! 🎨✨

Our students showcased their creativity through an Upcycling Initiative, transforming discarded and unused materials into meaningful artworks and useful products. What was once considered waste has been renewed with purpose, creativity, and value.

This activity not only encouraged innovation and environmental responsibility but also demonstrated how small actions can contribute to a more sustainable future.

Well done to all the students for their inspiring creations and for proving that every item has the potential for a second.

We have conducted a Civic Education Guest Speaker Session led be a dedicated Civic Educator, Sayar Mahn Thaik Tun.

Through engaging discussions, practical examples, and active participation, the speaker helped deepen participants' understanding of civic disposition and civic responsibility, and community participation.

This summer filled with learning, laughter, growth and unforgettable experiences together ❤️. Though the program ends today, the memories and friendship we created will always remain in our hearts.

We are grateful for the wonderful support from community members, alumni and friends who came to enjoy and buy the food and vegetables today. Your encouragement means a lot to us. 💓
