GTP Mission - Myanmar

GTP Mission - Myanmar God's Trio Partners for Mission (GTP) Myanmar is a Christian organisation dedicated to planting churches in Myanmar.

We partner with and support local missionaries, equipping them with training, resources, and support to share the gospel with communities. GTP is a Church-Planting Ministry in Myanmar that began in 1989 by Mang Za Suan. The trio partners of church planting are the Interssory Missionary, the Sponsoring Missionary and the Field Missionary. The Headquarters are located in Yangon, Myanmar. The Ministr

y's main objectives are achieved by:

Prayer - Intercession is the spearhead of the mission. Intercessors formed in the local churches to pray everyday. Each intercessor is assigned for one townshjip and one mission station. Training - Indignous Missionary candidates are trained every year and selected to plant churches in unreached towns and villages

Sponsoring - Raising up financial sponsors (individuals/ groups and churches) to support each field missionary family

Opening Stations - One evangelist supervises 10 stations/churches and give monthly reports on the progress of each church

Pastor's Conference - To inspire and revive missions and church planting of local churches and pastors and help plant churches

A gathering of Christian leaders is critical for unity, prayer, encouragement, and momentum. With less than 6% of Myanmar identifying as Christian, strengthening leaders is essential.

GTP will host a 3-day gathering of Christian leaders with the purpose of uniting churches and leaders and to set a clear path forward to share the gospel with the unreached communities of Myanmar.

But we cannot do this without you.

What looked like the end…wasn’t the end. The stone is rolled away & the grave is empty. Because Jesus rose, death doesn’t get the final word. Hope is alive again.

Pray with us 🙏

In the midst of ongoing unrest, we continue to lift the nation of Myanmar before the Lord. Pray that God’s peace would overcome conflict and that He would protect and strengthen those who are suffering.

We ask that leaders across the country would come to know Christ, that their lives would be transformed by His truth and love, and that they would lead with righteousness and compassion.

May many turn to Jesus in this time and find true hope and salvation in Him.

🙏 This Week's Prayer Requests 🙏

✈️ Mang Za Suan and Ciin Suan Travel to Myanmar
Our founders, Mang and Ciin Suan, flew to Myanmar last week to meet with missionaries, pastors and Christian leaders in Myanmar. They'll be travelling for a couple of months to guide our team in running the Pastors' Mission Awareness Seminar in April and the Equippers Training in May. Please pray for their safety and for God to guide them ahead of two extremely important and impactful events.

✝️ Spiritual Breakthrough in Taunggyi
Our field missionary, Saw Lu has been evangelising to the people of Taunggyi in central Myanmar. He tells us that they listen to the Gospel with great interest and expressed that they are gaining a deeper understanding. While they have not yet confessed Christ as their Saviour, they remain very welcoming and interested in learning more.

🗣️Reaching More People in Aunglan
Myo Kyi, our field missionary in Aunglan, has asked you to pray for his continued protection and ability to preach the gospel in the Magway region. He has been blessed, so far, in being welcomed by so many new people, but he wants to share the gospel more extensively. Please pray for the locals' goodwill to continue and that his mind and body remain healthy.

🇲🇲 The People of Myanmar and Its Leaders
Myanmar continues to face deep unrest, hardship, and uncertainty. Please pray for peace to take root across the nation, for protection over the vulnerable, and for justice to be upheld. We ask that the hearts of leaders would be guided by wisdom, humility, and a desire for righteousness, and that they would encounter Christ personally. Pray that they will come to know His truth, grace, and transforming love. Above all, we pray that many would experience the hope, healing, and salvation found in Jesus.

Thank you for your support and prayers. We truly believe that what God is doing is not by our strength alone, but through the faithful prayers of His people.

Help us keep our power on! 🙏

Power outages in Myanmar are frequent and strategic, designed to reduce strain on outdated infrastructure. These outages can last anywhere from two to six hours at a time, often during the hottest parts of the day. During these periods, our staff struggle to work, communicate, and remain safe in extreme heat.

No power means no air conditioning, no internet and no lights!

Which is why we desperately need a power battery.
By installing a power backup system in our Myanmar office, we can maintain a continuous power supply, keep the lights on, the internet connected, and the air conditioning running.

A power battery (including installation) will cost AU$2,500.
We’re inviting you to help make this possible. Your donation, big or small, will directly contribute to creating a safer and sustainable working environment for our team in Yangon.

I want to help!:
